Loc Nguyen and Eugenia Lee of Garden Grove purchased Burnham Apartments, a 10-unit apartment complex at 5916 Burnham Ave. in Buena Park, for $569,000. Tina Lee of ERA Superior Real Estate represented the buyers, and Ken Morgan and Jay Skenderian of Morgan Skenderian Investment Real Estate Group represented the seller, Tawi Investments LLC of Fountain Valley.
Rafael Carrete of Orange purchased the Arden Apartments, a 10-unit apartment complex at 925 S. Arden Place in Anaheim, for $545,000. The Cogswell family of San Clemente purchased the Villa Marquita Apartments, a 25-unit apartment complex at 211 W. Marquita in San Clemente, for $1,875,000. Asset Management Consultants purchased a 21,000-square-foot office building at 1199 Fairway Drive in the city of Industry. The value of the transaction was $2.34 million. Ed Indvik of Lee & Associates represented both the buyer and the seller, Fairway Associates.

Mower, Koeller, Nebeker, Carlson & Haluck LLP leased approximately 21,000 square feet of office space at 2301 Dupont Ave. in Irvine. The value of the transaction was more than $2.7 million. Duxford Financial Services leased approximately 9,900 square feet of office space at 1300 Dove St. in Newport Beach. The value of the transaction was more than $1.2 million. Unidial leased approximately 10,300 square feet of office space at 4 Hutton Centre in Santa Ana. The value of the transaction was more than $1.7 million. The Benjamin Group/BSMG Worldwide Inc. leased a 14,200-square-foot office building at 17762 Cowan in Irvine. The value of the transaction was $1.5 million. Jeff Mitchell, senior vice president of Voit Commercial Brokerage’s Irvine office, completed a 6-year, $2.1 million lease in Whittier. The lessee, Alexander Moving & Storage, will occupy 60,076 square feet of a newly constructed 85,000-square-foot distribution and office facility in the Pacific Gulf Distribution Center. Mitchell represented the lessee; Pat Welsch of CB Richard Ellis represented the lessor, Pacific Gulf Properties, Newport Beach.
CONTRACTS
Snyder Langston, an Irvine-based contractor, signed a contract to build Queensbay, a retail complex on the Long Beach waterfront. DDR Oliver McMillan is developing the 500,000-square-foot complex.
Johnson Fain Partners was commissioned to design the new corporate headquarters of Experian in Costa Mesa. The complex will include four low-rise buildings totaling 400,000 square feet of office space, along with a conference center, commissary and parking structure.
GKK Corp., an Irvine-based design and construction company, was awarded a contract to provide architectural services for the Senate Bill 1953 seismic upgrades required on Loma Linda University Medical Center. SB1953’s deadline for all acute care medical facilities in the state is 2008.
LSA Associates Inc., an Irvine-based developer, was awarded a contract to provide a comprehensive master plan of the Orange County Fairgrounds by the fairgrounds board of directors. The 160-acre site of the Orange County Fair is in Costa Mesa.
PC Associates Inc. a Tustin-based plan check firm, was awarded a contract to provide scheduling and plan review services to modernize 23 facilities in the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District. The project is scheduled for completion within 18 months.
Salerno/Livingston Architects was selected to design the renovations to Crawford Field by the University of California Irvine. The project includes installing 5,000 new seats at the field.
Tustin-based Coreland Carlson has landed eight property management contracts since January, representing more than 1.27 million square feet of retail, industrial and office space throughout the Southland. Among the properties are two 135,000-square-foot industrial parks, in Anaheim and Santa Fe Springs and two properties totaling 470,000 square feet in the Inland Empire.
