SALES

TDK Semiconductor acquired a 164,330-square-foot industrial building at 3190 Miraloma Ave. in Anaheim from The Hamilton Co. for $12.4 million. Mark Larson and Gary Stocke of CB Richard Ellis represented TDK. Jeffrey Chiate, Bob Griffith and Rick Ellison of Cushman & Wakefield’s Irvine office represented The Hamilton Co.

Private investment group EMC Associates bought a 39,925-square-foot building at 17466 Daimler St. in Irvine from Voit Fica Partners for $3.1 million. John Griffin of Voit Commercial Brokerage’s Irvine office and John Pagliassotti of Voit’s Anaheim Metro office represented both parties.

1520 Nutmeg LP purchased the 26,919-square-foot Harbor Nutmeg Plaza from Nutmeg Plaza LLC for $2.1 million. Richard Wray represented 1520 Nutmeg LP. George and Steve Economos of NAI Capital Commercial represented Nutmeg Plaza LLC.

McKay Family Trust acquired an 11-unit apartment complex at 231 Avenida Monterey in San Clemente from The Hendrix Family Trust for $1 million. Grant Hahn and Rick Applebaum of Morgan Skenderian Investment Real Estate Group’s Newport Beach office represented both parties.

NewMark Merrill Co. purchased the 77,021-square-foot Bristol & Warner Center in Santa Ana from GVD Commercial Property Inc. for $8.6 million. Scott Hook of Marcus & Millichap represented both parties.

Condon Investment Group bought three separate apartment buildings in Santa Ana, a total of 34 units, from Ruth Hebard for $2 million. Mike Marcu and Shane Shafer of Marcus & Millichap represented Hebard.

Paul Kaeohane purchased a 23,409-square-foot industrial building at 1317 Grove St. in Orange from Moreland Crosby Partnership for $1.8 million. David Williams of Lee & Associates-Orange Inc. represented Keohane. Walter Frome of Trammel Crow represented the partnership.

Mammoth Equities LLC bought a 1.26-acre parcel at 17392 Murphy Ave. in Irvine from Irvine-Murphy Associates for $2.6 million. Matt Pipkin of Lee & Associates’ Newport Beach office represented both parties.

Clean City Inc. bought the 30,000-square-foot Kraemer Building at 201 E. Center in Anaheim from The Republic Group for $1.6 milliion. Paul Kott of Paul Kott Realtors represented Clean City. Sonya Dopp-Grech of Lee & Associates-Orange, represented The Republic Group.

JFMA Corp. bought the 24,053-square-foot medical building at 1525 Superior Ave. in Newport Beach from HRPT. Rick Duggan of Duggan & Associates represented JFAM. Mark Larson and Gary Stache of CB Richard Ellis Private Client Investment Group represented HRPT.

Mosesian Land Co. bought a 9,967-square-foot retail shopping center in Mission Viejo from Standard Insurance Co. for $2.5 million. Richmont Investments represented Mosesian. Mark Larson and Gary Stache of CB Richard Ellis Private Client Investment Group represented Standard Insurance.

Pardee Construction bought 173 view lots, called Sierra Heights, in the Santa Clarita Valley from Sierra Heights LLC. Howard Hamlin of Whittlesey Doyle, Irvine, represented Sierra Heights LLC.


LEASES

3DSP Corp. subleased a 21,202-square-foot space in Irvine Oaks Executive Park at 16271 Laguna Canyon Road in Irvine from QuickStart Technologies Inc. The five-year contract was valued at $1.9 million. John M. Gallivan and Timothy P. Helgeson of Cushman Realty’s Orange County office represented 3DSP. The Staubach Co. represented QuickStart.

CNA Trust signed a five-year lease renewal for a 55,000-square-foot space at the South Coast Corporate Center at 3080 Bristol St. in Costa Mesa for $7.5 million. Steve Barker of Studley Real Estate Services represented CNA Trust. Richard Essen of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, MetLife.

Altech Centers of Orange County Inc. leased a 9,000-square-foot office space at 3187 Red Hill Ave. in Costa Mesa from 3187 Redhill LLC for $1.1 million. Michael Props of NAI Capital Commercial represented Altech Centers. Phil Cohen of CB Richard Ellis represented 3187 Redhill LLC.

Clarklift of California leased a 35,195-square-foot industrial space in Santa Fe Springs from Cliffwood Development Co. for $1.1 million. Elizabeth Hughes of Lee & Associates-Orange Inc., represented Clarklift. Brude Romano of Inco Commercial Real Estate represented Cliffwood.

King Insurance Support Systems leased a 4,408-square-foot office space in Sycamore Commons Corporate Center at 26311 Junipero Serra Road in San Juan Capistrano from TMC San Juan LLC. Michael Props of NAI Capital Commercial represented King. Dave Smith of Grubb & Ellis represented the landlord.

Nasim M. Yusuf leased a 17,648-square-foot retail space at Moulton Plaza Shopping Center in Laguna Hills from WDCI Inc. The 15-year, nine-month contract was valued at $1.5 million. Connie L. Kelly of Hamilton Cove Realty Inc. represented Yusuf. Pentz & Partners represented WDCI Inc.


OTHER

Summit Builders, Newport Beach, broke ground on the 192,658-square-foot Doubletree Hotel in Santa Ana. The 256-room hotel will feature a French-themed full service restaurant, bar and lounge.

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage added Fred Sands Newport Properties to its sales force in the Orange County coastal marketplace.

Douglas E. Barnhart Inc. and Tustin Unified School District started construction of Myford Elementary School in Irvine. The school, designed by Tritipo & Associates, will feature five wood-framed buildings.

The Capital Markets Group of Burnham Real Estate Services, Irvine, announced $6.08 million in permanent financing for Brookshire Medical, a 53,351-square-foot medical building in Downey. Burnham’s Scott Calder, Joel Gruber and Barry Nicholas secured the financing through Deutsche Banc Mortgage Capital LLC. The project will be managed by WRA Associates of Newport Beach.
