REAL ESTATE DEALS

SALES

The redevelopment agency of Buena Park paid $3.5 million to International Investments & Realty for a 13,000-square-foot retail building at 8850 La Palma Ave. in Buena Park. It likely will rezone the site for housing development, possibly for transitional housing for the Orange County Rescue Mission. Erik Thompson of Daum Commercial Real Estate Services represented the seller.

An undisclosed buyer paid $1.28 mil-

lion to YG Ventures LLC for a 3,000-square-foot medical office building at 27051 Moulton Parkway in Laguna Hills. Justin Hill and Kevin Hill of CB Richard Ellis Group Inc. represented the seller.

Stephen and Joette Lookabaugh paid $1.15 million to Blaise and Ellen Bartell for a six-unit apartment complex at 1708 Peppertree Lane in Fullerton. The apartments sold for about $191,700 each. Hal Pappano of Capitalvest Inc. represented both parties.

Kusha Inc. leased 38,400 square feet of industrial space at 1211 McGaw Ave. in Irvine. Kusha, an importer of Basmati rice from India, plans to use the building as its U.S. headquarters. The five-year lease was valued at $1.67 million. Dick Silva, Phil Cohen and Matt Durken of Lee & Associates represented Kusha and landlord RDM Properties.
