Two private investors from Santa Ana paid $4.2 million for the 44-unit Melrose Manor Apartments at 7200 Melrose St. in Buena Park from two private investors in Newport Beach. Jay Skenderian and Grant Hahn of Morgan Skenderian Investment Real Estate Group represented the sellers. Gary Tolfa of Investment Property Group represented the buyers.
Tom Rand Luby paid $1.9 million to Anna LLC for the 22-unit apartment complex at 108-116 E. Wakefield Ave. in Anaheim. Jay Skenderian and Rick Applebaum of Morgan Skenderian represented both parties.
A group of private investors paid $1.7 million to Burke Real Estate Group for buildings at 18265 and 18269 Gothard St. in Huntington Beach. David Knowlton of NAI Capital Commercial Real Estate represented the buyers. Tyler Pollock of Burke Commercial Brokerage Inc. and Dan Powers of CB Richard Ellis Services Inc. represented the seller.
Charles H. Howell paid $1.7 million to Cundiff Steel Fabricating and Erecting Inc. for the 18,313-square-foot industrial building at 1720 Barcelona Circle in Placentia. Tom Gilmer of Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate Services represented the seller. Steve Crane of Ashwill Associates Inc. represented the buyer.
Larry Fong paid $1 million to Octavian and Elena Condrea for the nine-unit Villa Descano Apartments at 8681 Trask Ave. in Garden Grove. Grand Hahn of Morgan Skenderian represented the seller. Grace Mock of P.F. Properties represented the buyer.
LEASES
Roland DG Corp. leased 53,360 square feet of office and research and development space at 15363 Barranca Parkway in the Irvine Spectrum for five years. Financial terms weren’t disclosed. The company, a maker of printers, vinyl cutters and other graphics products that’s part of Japan’s Roland Corp., is relocating from 37,000 square feet of space elsewhere in the Spectrum. Chip Wright and Gregg Haly of CB Richard Ellis represented Roland DG. Stan Mullin of the Grubb & Ellis Co. represented the building owner, Irvine’s Nikken Inc.
Automatic Rain leased 20,970 square feet at 412 Levers Place in Orange from Arlen and Eva Rethwisch in a deal valued at $1.2 million. Greg Diab and David Williams of Lee & Associates represented the landlords. Jesse Karassik of Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corp. represented the tenant.
Bank of America Corp. leased 5,000 square feet at Seacliff Village shopping center in Huntington Beach for 20 years in a deal valued at $2.8 million. Jim Duke, Blake Woodward and Duke/Schillne Retail Property Services Team of CB Richard Ellis represented Seacliff Village. Gary McCabe of Jones Lang LaSalle represented Bank of America.
