Eastern Express bought an 80,220-square-foot industrial facility at 4325 Artesia Ave. in Fullerton from Lennox International Inc. for $3.9 million. Bob Goodmanson, Ian Britton, Brian DeRevere and Brad Bierbaum of CB Richard Ellis brokered the transaction.
SSR Western Multifamily LLC acquired the 178-unit Sea Castle in Santa Monica from Newport Beach-based Sea Castle Partners LLC for $48 million. Melinda Russell of Hendricks & Partners’ Los Angeles office represented both parties.
Newport Federal purchased a 32,473-square-foot building at 4667 McArthur Blvd. in Newport Beach from Makar Properties LLC for $6 million. Rob Mitchell of Voit Commercial Brokerage’s Anaheim Metro office and Alan Pekarcik of Voit’s Irvine office represented both parties.
Newport Beach-based Touchstone Investments bought the 61,500-square-foot Daley Office Plaza in San Diego for $6.2 million. Andy Meyers of Business Real Estate represented both parties.

AMB Property Corp. bought the 300,750-square-foot Santa Fe Springs Distribution Center in Santa Fe Springs from Prentiss Properties Acquisitions Partners LP. Broadband Storage leased 15,207 square feet at University Research Park at 5141 California in Irvine from The Irvine Co. The five-year lease was valued at $2.2 million. Chip Wright and Barry Knudson of CB Richard Ellis’ Newport Beach office represented Broadband Storage.
My Dollar Store Inc. leased a 6,500-square-foot at 1901 Newport Blvd. in Costa Mesa. Chris Deason and Ted Crisell of Voit Commercial Brokerage represented My Dollar Store.
California Advanced Sports renewed its lease for a 37,000-square-foot industrial space at 326 Palm in Orange from Chapman University. In addition, CFI Distributors leased a 24,000-square-foot industrial space at 296 Cypress in Orange from Chapman. Walter Frome and Bill Livesay of Trammel Crow Co. represented both transactions in both parties.
Option One Mortgage Corp. leased a 34,267-square-foot office space at 25500 Common Center Drive in Lake Forest from Riggs and Co. John Harty of Trammel Crow Co. brokered the five-year lease.
Other
Flour Daniel, through a joint venture between Flour Corp. and Empresas ICA, received a contract to build a power plant in Mexico. The contract was valued at $158.5 million. The plant in Mexicali will have the capacity to generate 600 megawatts of electricity.
The 400-guestroom St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort & Spa in Dana Point will open this month. The $240 million project features an oceanfront golf course, a private beach club, business center and a 30,000-square-foot spa.
