Brian Riley has joined PriVest Bank as president of the Costa Mesa-based bank. Riley, who has spent his entire 16-year career with community-based banks, was previously CFO of Provident Bank in Riverside.
The Laguna Nigel resident replaces Dave Brown, who is now chief operating officer.
Riley said he looks forward to developing relationships with clients and community leaders.
“People are looking for personal attention to their financial needs,” he said.
Riley said he views PriVest as a key strategic partner for small business owners, professionals and affluent clients and hopes to better acquaint the local community with the private bank’s services.
Riley, who lives with his wife and son, holds a BS in Finance from Cal Poly Pomona and an MBA from California Baptist University. He enjoys Asian cooking, mountain biking and scuba diving. He recently became a mentor with the Deacon Jones Foundation and is co-chairing the inaugural American Cancer Society Relay for Life in Santa Ana.
