The Irvine office of Ernst & Young LLP promoted Peggy Brooker, Cheryl S. Moreno, Gino Bianchini and Alex Waniek. Brooker became partner and is a member of the California Society of CPAs. Moreno became partner and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs. Bianchini was promoted to principal and is a member of the State Bar of California. Waniek was promoted to executive director.
ARCHITECTURE
MBH Architects named Iscolina Delgado, Leslie McClellan, Avtar Singh and Godfrey Cheung as associates at its Newport Beach office. Delgado is a designer and began working for MBH in 2004. McClellan is a designer. Singh and Cheung are job captains.
ASSOCIATIONS
The American Society of Breast Surgeons elected Jay K. Harness as its 2007-08 president. Harness currently is medical director of the Comprehensive Breast Center at St. Joseph Hospital in Orange. Harness is a founding member and member of the board of Breast Surgeons International.
CONSTRUCTION
Roel Construction promoted Sonia Koval from administrative assistant to project coordinator at its Irvine office. Koval has a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Wisconsin. She joined Roel in 2006.
HEALTHCARE
David Escalante Jr. joined Irvine-based SK & A; Information Services Inc. as president and chief operating officer. He has 14 years of sales and marketing experience with pharmaceutical and biotech companies. SK & A; also hired Manus Gallagher as vice president of sales. Gallagher has 12 years of experience in sales and marketing for the pharmaceutical industry.
LAW
Bingham McCutchen LLP added Stephanie Siegel Brecher as a partner in its Costa Mesa office. Brecher has more than 13 years of experience in corporate law, most recently with Nortel Networks Corp. She spent nine years with Nortel and regularly advised senior executives on business strategy and risk.
Darryl A. Ross was promoted to senior attorney in the Costa Mesa office of Theodora Oringher Miller & Richman PC. He has represented clients in the healthcare and product liability sectors for 11 years. Ross joined the firm in 2002. He is an assistant commissioner for the American Youth Soccer Organization.

Echo Media Group in Tustin hired Margot Suarez as junior account executive. Suarez recently was a community services coordinator for the city of Diamond Bar. She specializes in research and trend analysis for public relations and marketing communications programs.

Anaheim-based Neighborhood Housing Services of OC named Stephanie Robinette as its director of fund development. She recently worked at the National Conference of Community and Justice of Southern California. Robinette will work with OC businesses and regional and national foundations to raise funds for NHS of OC and the OC Housing Trust.
Anaheim-based Working Wardrobes named Jerri Rosen chief executive. Rosen is founder of the group and has been executive director since 1995. She has more than 25 years of experience in marketing and communications. Since 1991, Working Wardrobes has helped more than 35,000 adults experiencing life crises.
REAL ESTATE
John Laing Homes in Newport Beach promoted Steve Kabel to Southern California region president. Dave Prolo was promoted to president of the South Coast division and will oversee operations in Orange and San Diego counties. Kabel has worked as a member of the company’s strategic planning group since 1999. Prolo has worked with John Laing Homes since 1993.
Santa Ana-based First American Corp. named George Grupp chief financial officer of the specialty insurance segment. Grupp will manage the segment’s financial reporting, financial compliance and budgeting. He has more than 30 years of experience in the industry.

Huntington Beach-based Foldera Inc. named Hugh Dunkerley chief operating officer. Dunkerley most recently was vice president of investment bank Hunter Wise Financial Group LLC.
