ACCOUNTING

The Costa Mesa office of Deloitte & Touche USA LLP promoted four people: James Bova to partner at Deloitte Consulting; James Chergey to principal of audit and enterprise risk services for Deloitte & Touche; Tanya Cocking to director of lead tax group at Deloitte Tax; and Scott Ecker to partner of lead tax services at Deloitte Tax.

Irvine-based Haskell & White LLP added Jutta Gebauer as audit principal of the audit and business advisory services group. Gebauer previously was audit director at McGladrey & Pullen LLP.

AUTOMOTIVE

Carson Lev was appointed vice president and chief operating officer at Foose Design, which designs and builds hot rod cars in Huntington Beach. Lev most recently was senior vice president and general manager at Equity Management Inc., a trademark licenser.

EMPLOYMENT

Adam Roth was named chief administrator officer at Orange-based Roth Staffing Cos., and president and managing partner of Adams & Martin Group, its legal placement division. Roth joined the company in 2003.

FOOD

Irvine-based Golden State Foods promoted Bob Jorge from vice president to senior vice president. Jorge also is president of the distribution group. He joined the food products distributor in 2000.

HEALTHCARE

Debra Mathias was appointed executive vice president and chief operating officer at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County. Mathias has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare management.

Irvine-based SK & A; Information Services Inc. added Jack Schember as director of marketing. Prior to joining, Schember was a marketing manager at Melissa Data Corp. in Rancho Santa Margarita.

LAW

John Hueston joined Irell & Manella LLP as a partner in the litigation practice. Hueston works in the firm’s two offices in Newport Beach and Los Angeles. He was head of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Santa Ana and joined the government’s Enron Corp. task force in 2004. He rose to become one of the key prosecutors in the Enron case.

NONPROFIT

Child Guidance Center Inc., an Orange County United Way nonprofit, appointed seven people to its board: Chris Hildreth as president, Brian Clark as development chair, Jim Ethell as finance chair, Lilyana Thomas as membership chair, Kenneth Cheng as community relations chair, Tony Costanzo as secretary and Derek Johnson as past president.

Girls Inc. of Orange County, which provides various programs for girls, named Tom Delaney as a member of its board of trustees. Delaney is a partner at the Irvine office of Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold LLP.

PUBLIC RELATIONS

Hilary Kaye Associates Inc. promoted Emily Carlton to director of client services. Carlton has been public relations specialist and senior public relations specialist at Hilary Kaye. She has 11 years of experience.

REAL ESTATE

Coreland Cos., a commercial real estate company in Tustin, added Cheryl Todd as vice president of real estate management and promoted Steven Hogberg to senior vice president of leasing sales and Kathie Sitton to senior vice president of finance. Todd previously was vice president, market officer for Prologis in Ontario. Hogberg formerly was vice president of leasing sales and has been with Coreland for 12 years. Sitton was vice president of finance and has been at the company for 10 years.

TECHNOLOGY

Irvine-based iStor Networks Inc., which makes devices for storage area networks, hired Jay Kramer as vice president of marketing. Kramer retains his role as chairman of Data Protection Summit, formerly Information Lifecycle Management Summit.

Irvine-based Zetera Corp., a maker of network storage devices, named Pete Dale as vice president of sales. Prior to joining, Dale was vice president of sales and business development for Optovia Corp.

TOURISM

The Orange Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau appointed Heidi Larkin-Reid as president and chief executive. Larkin-Reid previously was a governmental affairs consultant for the South Orange County Regional Chambers of Commerce.
