Tom Mankiewicz was named a trustee professor for the Dodge College of Film & Media Arts at Chapman University in Orange. He first came to Chapman in 2006 as part of a special program and continued teaching as an adjunct professor.

Lindsay Buwalda Wiggins joined the Irvine office of Terracon Consultants Inc. as a marketing and business development specialist. She is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, the National Association of Industrial & Office Properties and the Society for Marketing Professional Services. Wiggins recently was a project engineer at Irvine’s Snyder Langston.

Alissa Cope joined the Irvine headquarters of Chambers Group Inc. as principal planner and regulatory specialist. Cope has spent 12 years preparing and managing regulatory compliance projects for clients in public and private sectors.

Costa Mesa-based RSM EquiCo Capital Markets LLC named Chris Dedic as a vice president. Before RSM EquiCo, Dedic was vice president and client manager in Bank of America’s global corporate and investment banking group. He will oversee efforts to expand RSM EquiCo’s presence in the global financial services sector.
HEALTHCARE
Jeff Howorth was named vice president of the strategic business group at Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc. in Tustin. Howorth has 19 years of sales experience in the medical imaging industry. He most recently was zone vice president of strategic business for Philips Medical Systems, part of Royal Philips Electronics NV.
INSURANCE
Martha Gamboa joined Santa Ana-based EOI Service Co. as a regional director of worksite marketing. Gamboa has experience in individual life insurance sales with Mutual of New York and in worksite benefits with Allstate Insurance Co. and American International Group Inc. She is the key marketing representative for EOI in Southern California.
Brea-based Veterinary Pet Insurance Co. added Lynne C. Miller as compliance director. Miller has 30 years of experience in insurance regulatory compliance and claims litigation. She recently was branch manager for Crawford Technical Services and has also held management positions at Reliance Insurance Co. and Balboa Insurance Group Inc.

Kelvin H. Chin joined the Costa Mesa office of Theodora Oringher Miller & Richman PC as its first chief client development officer. Chin has 30 years of experience in sales and marketing.
Hart, King & Coldren added Beau M. Chung and Kathy Watte Nichols as associates to its Santa Ana office. Chung recently worked as an associate in the city of Orange and specialized in business torts, premises liability and breach of contract. Nichols previously was at Encino-based Michelman & Robinson LLP.

Jennifer Hansen was promoted to senior account executive at Atomic Curve in Irvine. Hansen will manage the firm’s newest account, Superior Access Insurance Services. Her prior experience includes marketing for Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo and Spotlight Health.

Orange-based AsianPRWire hired Betty Tian as public relations associate. Tian will work with the Chinese American media and coordinate outreach campaigns focusing on the Chinese American population. Tian formerly was a reporter in China and has worked at Warner Independent Pictures and Rogers Group Inc.
REAL ESTATE
Prudential California Realty named Steve Rodgers president and chief executive working out of its Irvine office. Rodgers previously was the company’s president and chief operating officer for Southern California and the Central Coast. He has 19 years of experience in the real estate industry, including 13 years at Prudential.
TRANSPORTATION
Tom Bogard rejoined the Orange County Transportation Authority as director of highway programs. Bogard has spent 20 years in the transportation industry. Bogard was with OCTA in 1991 and managed the $2.5 billion Measure M program.
