Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center, Mission Viejo, named Linda Johnson vice president of patient care and nursing services. The 25-year veteran was previously vice president of patient care services and chief nursing executive at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center. In addition, Mission Hospital Foundation added Cliff Carper, Dan Kelly and Lawrence J. Luppi to its board. The Foundation is the fundraising arm of the 272-bed Mission Hospital.

Irvine-based Micro Therapeutics Inc. named Brett Wall vice president of marketing. Most recently, Wall was director of marketing, cardiovascular for Boston Scientific Singapore.
PacifiCare Health Systems Inc., Santa Ana, promoted Ferial Behremand to senior vice president, provider network development and management. Behremand will spearhead development of Centers of Excellence Networks for organ transplants.

St. Regis Monarch Beach, Dana Point, named Cathy Becker director of human resources. Her responsibilities include hiring, training, coaching and development of more than 600 employees of the 400-room resort which is slated to open in July.

Santa Ana-based Safeco Select Insurance Services promoted Peter Lo to senior vice president and director of management information systems. Prior to joining the firm, the 15-year technical and management veteran was chief information officer for Vista Paint Corp.
