Caliber Collision Centers, Irvine, promoted Shawn Hezar to senior vice president of client services and operations and Dan Pettigrew to senior vice president of technology and integration.


Banking and Finance

The Keller Group, Irvine,formerly Keller, Collins, Hakopian and Leisure Investment Counsel Inc.,promoted Tom O’Connor to director of financial planning, John Appleby to senior portfolio manager, Marco Rodriguez and Liz Humphreys to associate portfolio managers and Christine Magallanez to portfolio manager assistant.


Business Services

David B. Harris joined Paragon Partners Ltd., Huntington Beach, as director of business development and client relations. Previously, Harris was associate vice president at Daniel, Mann, Johnson & Mendenhall in Los Angeles.


Construction

GKK Works, Irvine, hired Gary Wier as project manager. Wier is overseeing the Cabrillo High School project for the Long Beach Unified School District.


Education

The Chamber of Commerce of Yorba Linda passed the gavel to new president W. Gary McGuire. McGuire is provost of the North Orange County Community College District’s School of Continuing Education.


Real Estate

Greg Brown joined the Irvine office of Cushman & Wakefield as office director. Previously, Brown was with CB Richard Ellis. He has more than 17 years of experience in the industry. Cushman & Wakefield also hired Cameron Driscoll, Luke McDaniel and Braden Weber as an industrial brokerage team focusing on project marketing in the West Orange County and mid-cities markets.

Tammy Traverso was named sales manager at Catellus Residential Group, Irvine, for the Woodlands Neighborhood project in Aliso Viejo. Robert Aponte also was named a sales manager at Catellus; he will head the Claremore project in Huntington Beach.

Shea Properties, Aliso Viejo, added Duane Bradley as a development manager. Bradley has 20 years of industry experience and will oversee development of Shea’s apartment projects.

Gregory P. May was promoted to senior vice president of leasing and marketing at Santa Ana-based Transwestern Commercial Services. May has been with Transwestern for three years in the Orange County office.

Corporate Capital Group, Costa Mesa, hired Timothy C. Reeves as a vice president. Reeves will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of new developments and assist with corporate operations.

Larry Larson was appointed as Western account executive at the Costa Mesa office of Cartier. In this position, Larson will be responsible for developing Cartier’s pen specialty business in the Western U.S.

Troy Hefner was promoted to regional vice president of the Western division of Home Depot, while Terry Hopper became the merchandising vice president for the Orange-based Western division.

Quiksilver, Huntington Beach, hired Chris Owen as team manager of the winter-sports team. Owen’s primary function will be to develop and promote the Quiksilver and Roxy snow teams.

After receiving “general manager of the year” honors, Christopher Yeh was selected by Orange-based Marie Callender’s as general manager of its new restaurant in Irvine. The new unit is the first to open in Orange County in more than 13 years.


Technology

Airshow Inc., Tustin, named Alan Bearden senior director of airline sales. Airshow provides corporate aviation and commercial airlines with passenger flight-information systems.

Don Borba has been named chief operations officer at PriceNetUSA.com, Irvine. Prior to joining PriceNetUSA, Borba was president and CEO of National Communications Network.

Viking Components, Rancho Santa Margarita, appointed Victor Allison director of engineering. Viking manufactures OEM and upgrade component technology for the computer industry.

Simulation Sciences Inc., Brea, named Chris Harding vice president of research and development. Harding has more than 15 years of software-development experience.

Joseph A. Patti joined Sextant In-Flight Systems, Irvine, as director of marketing. With more than 20 years of experience in the aerospace industry, Patti will be responsible for marketing the company’s in-flight entertainment and information systems to commercial airlines worldwide.


Telecommunications

Lightyear, a national telecommunications company with offices in Santa Ana, hired Mary Crisci and Jim Kupsh as network consultants and Curtis T. Woods as a senior network consultant.
