BANKING

Wells Fargo & Co. named Tiffany Ching as manager of the Tustin/Collins branch in Orange and Daniel Shay as manager of the Dana Point branch. Ching joined the bank in 1988 as a teller and most recently was manager at Well Fargo’s Temple City branch. Shay joined Wells Fargo in 2000 as a teller and previously managed the branch in Ladera Ranch.

CONSTRUCTION

Aliso Viejo-based LCS Constructors Inc., a construction company that specializes in laboratories and other technical facilities, added John Keppler as senior project manager. Keppler was the director of the Center for Advanced Construc-tion Studies in Irvine and has more than 15 years of experience in the construction industry.

FINANCE

Irvine-based investment banking firm C.K. Cooper & Co. added Luke Eckblad as an associate to the corporate finance group. Prior to joining C.K. Cooper, Eckblad was a director with Ascendiant Securities in Irvine. He has more than a decade of experience managing and advising private and public companies in the U.S. and Europe.

Hunter Wise Financial Group LLC, an Irvine-based investment bank-ing company, added Paul Fejtek as managing director. Fejtek previously handled mergers and acquisitions at Citigroup Capital Strate-gies. He will be doing similar work at Hunter Wise, representing private businesses that are selling.

GOVERNMENT

Alan Freisleben, senior partner at Irvine-based law firm Picker, Chow & Freisleben, was appointed as a member of the San Juan Capistrano Water Advisory Commission. Freisleben is a resident of San Juan Capistrano. He’s been a trial lawyer for the past 25 years.

HEALTHCARE

Anaheim Memorial Medical Center, a nonprofit community hospital, elected the following to its board: Bob Hernandez as chair; Rakesh Bhola as vice chairman; Ron Bates as secretary; and Donald Snider as a member.

The Southern Califor-nia College of Optometry in Fullerton named Arlene Kaye director of marketing at its Eye Care Center in Fullerton. Kaye has 27 years of marketing experience. She most recently served as director of marketing at Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance.

TriZetto Group Inc., a Newport Beach healthcare technology company, appointed Joseph Manheim as senior vice president of benefits administration. Prior to joining, Manheim served as president of Interplan Health Group, a managed care preferred provider organization and cost-containment company.

HOTELS

Dorian Rommel was appointed as the director of food and beverage at the St. Regis Resort Monarch Beach. Rommel has 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He most recently was deputy food and beverage director at the Dorchester Hotel in London.

MANUFACTURING

Huntington Beach-based BSH Home Appliances Corp., a maker of upscale ovens, refrigerators, washers and dryers that’s part of BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausger & #228;te GMBH, itself a venture of Germany’s Robert Bosch GMBH and Siemens AG, named Thorsten Rosenberg executive vice president and chief financial officer. Rosenberg recently was vice president of international sales for parent company BSH Bosch. He replaces Herbert Lutzke, who’s moving on to a position at the company’s Munich headquarters.

Huntington Beach-based Cambro Manufacturing Co., a maker of food storage containers, trays, catering equipment and other food service items, added Greg Fischer as vice president of domestic sales. Fischer founded the Fischer Group in 1982. Fischer Group represents manufacturers and their products. It has been representing Cambro since 1987.

MEDIA AND MARKETING

Financial Media Group Inc., an Irvine-based advertising and media company, appointed Wendy Borow-Johnson as a member to its board. Borow-Johnson currently is the president of Healthy Living Channel and senior vice president of the Networks Group of Turner Media Group Inc. The Networks Group includes Healthy Living Channel, iShop, Beauty and Fashion, Men’s Channel, Mall TV, Resorts and Residence TV, iDrive and America’s Preview Network.

NONPROFIT

The Orange County chapter of Juvenile Diabetes Research in Irvine elected 11 members to its board: Jon Kaplan, an assistant dean of the business school at Chapman University; Ed Johnson, vice president of human resources for Quest Software Inc.; Eric Seedman, president and owner of Chrysalis California LLC; Dierdre Rodriquez, community leader; Jim Portner, vice president and general manager of Sage Software; Tim Blett, president of Doner Advertising; Janet Cheetham, vice president of clinical operations and outsourcing at Allergan Inc.; Tim Chelf, president and chief executive of Champion Plastics & Recycling Inc.; Cynthia Stamper Graff, president and chief executive of Lindora Inc.; Jennifer Connellan, president and founder of Future Focused Inc.; and Raymond Gomberg. The chapter also elected five officers to its board: Marshall Laitsch as president, Joanne Szabo as secretary, Cara Good as vice president of fund raising, Scott Farber as treasurer and Brad Cohen as president-elect.

REAL ESTATE

Jodi Barcelona was named vice president, chief of staff for IndyMac Bank’s financial freedom division in Irvine. Barcelona previously served as business continuity program manager. She’s been with the bank for more than a year. Prior to joining IndyMac, she was a program management consultant for various financial institutions.

TOURISM

The Anaheim/Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau added Harriet Porter to its convention sales team. Porter previously was the director of sales at the Hilton Suites Anaheim/Orange. She has more than 15 years of hotel industry experience, including sales positions at the Anaheim Hilton, Sheraton Long Beach, Sutton Place Hotel Newport Beach (now Fairmont Newport Beach) and the Westin South Coast Plaza.
