Fedalen Takes Real Estate Post at Wells

Charles H. “Chip” Fedalen Jr., an Irvine-based real estate division manager with Wells Fargo & Co., has been named to head the San Francisco-based bank’s commercial real estate group.

The bank, which has more than $500 billion in assets, originated $30 billion in commercial real estate loans last year.

Fedalen, who lives in Irvine, had been the division manager of the real estate group for Southern California and the Southwestern U.S.

The group provides commercial real estate loans. Fedalen has been a division manager in Wells Fargo’s Irvine office for the past decade.

Before joining the real estate group in 1994, he was the senior real estate counsel for Wells Fargo’s real estate managed assets group.
