Ronald Glickman started Ronald Glickman & Associates in Newport Beach. Glickman has 35 years of experience working at First American Corp. and Roth Capital Partners LLC. He advises business owners on selling their companies.
EDUCATION
Rancho Santiago Community College District named Gina Huegli budget analyst. She has nine years of fiscal, accounting and budget experience with the Orange County Department of Education. The district also named Larry Johnston associate dean of the exercise science, health and athletics division at Santa Ana College. He has 15 years of experience in college administration and strength and conditioning wellness programs.
FINANCE
Susie Phillips joined Informative Research in Garden Grove as vice president of strategic planning and business development. Most recently Phillips was executive vice president of diversification initiation and strategic planning at a Countrywide Financial Corp. subsidiary.
FITNESS
Irvine-based workout equipment maker Star Trac hired Keith White as director of global branding. White has more than 15 years of experience in communications, advertising, branding and messaging.
FOOD
Golden State Foods made promotions at its Irvine headquarters. Mike Waitukaitis was named vice chairman. Rick Moretti became senior vice president. Bill Sanderson became corporate vice president of finance. Tom Robertson was named senior director of finance. Shellie Frey was promoted to senior director of corporate communications.
HOTELS
The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Coast hired Mark Phillips as director of leisure sales and Abha Abbas as leisure sales manager. Phillips recently worked at La Costa Resort & Spa. Abbas was transient sales manager for Shutters Hotel on the Beach and Hotel Casa del Mar.
LAW
Tamara I. Devitt became a partner at the Irvine office of Fisher & Phillips LLP. She specializes in representing employers against claims of discrimination, wrongful termination and unfair business practices.
Pepper Hamilton LLP promoted Brian M. Katz to vice chair of the corporate and securities practice group in its Irvine office. Katz will advise clients on mergers, joint ventures and public securities offerings.
NONPROFIT
David Cracas joined the Orange County division board for the Children’s Bureau. Cracas is cofounder and president of technology consultant Pierpoint-Martin in Santa Ana.
Tom Klingenmeier was hired as general manager of the Sawdust Art Festival. Klingenmeier was formerly director of security for the festival.
The Orange County Community Foundation named Cynthia Ragland director of marketing. She will lead efforts in branding, strategic marketing and media relations.
PUBLIC RELATIONS
Schubert Flint Public Affairs added Marice White as a vice president in its Anaheim office. White has a diverse background in public affairs, media relations and political campaigns. She has received several Protos awards from the Public Relations Society of America.
TECHNOLOGY
Irvine-based Integrien Corp. added Fred van den Bosch and Sunny Gupta to its strategic advisory board. Van den Bosch was previously executive vice president of engineering, board member and chief technology officer at Veritas Softare Corp. Gupta is current chief executive at Apptio Inc. and was previously executive vice president of products at Opsware Inc.
