ARCHITECTURE

Irvine-based Ware Mal-comb hired Kierstin Misterek to the corporate office as project manager in the interiors group. She has experience in interior design and project management of commercial office, technology and financial projects.

The Newport Beach office of Gensler Architecture promoted Robert “Chip” Williams to principal. He has been with Gensler since 1989. Currently, Williams is the companywide global account manager for Gensler’s Bank of America account and is director of project management in the Newport Beach office.

Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo Inc. in Newport Beach promoted Stacy Prince Lezaja to director of human resources. Since joining the company in 1999, Lezaja has been associated with the development and implementation of human resources programs companywide.

CONSTRUCTION

The Irvine office of San Diego-based Roel Construction Co. hired Robert Askins and Denis Fierro as superintendents. Jeanne Graham has joined the company as project engineer, and Toni Riley was hired as project coordinator.

DPR Construction Inc. appointed Michael Ko-netzke as senior project manager in the Newport Beach office. Konetzke’s experience consists of projects ranging from $1 million to $300 million in a variety of markets, including microelectronics, mission critical facilities, defense, healthcare, manufacturing and corporate offices.

ENGINEERING

Wojtek Kosmowski joined Precision PCB Products Inc. in San Clemente as vice president of engineering and product development. Glen Eichelberger was named national sales manager.

HEALTHCARE

Mission Hospital Foundation, the fundraising arm of Mission Hospital, appointed Dove Canyon resident John Pace to its board. Currently a healthcare business consultant, Pace recently retired after 25 years from Service-Master Co., a nationwide organization that provides business and residential outsourcing services. He also is active in several Mission Hospital and foundation support groups and is co-chair of the foundation’s golf committee, helping plan and raise funds for the hospital’s annual charity golf tournament.

LAW

Hart, King & Coldren in Santa Ana added Emily Chase-Smith to the firm. Chase-Smith currently specializes in representing owners of manufactured housing communities. She is experienced in all areas of mobile home law including unlawful detainer actions, foreclosures, abandonments and warehouseman’s liens.

Kring & Chung LLP appointed Carol L. Meedon as new associate attorney in the Irvine office. Her practice primarily will consist of construction defect litigation and general liability matters. Prior to joining Kring & Chung, Meedon was a sole practitioner specializing in insurance coverage analysis and bad faith defense.

NONPROFIT

Bill Chapin, director of ticket sales and customer service for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, has been appointed to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Orange County Chapter board. Chapin will focus efforts to raise public awareness and sponsorship revenues for the chapter with active participation in the eighth annual Mighty Ducks Casino Night. Chapin was appointed to his current position with the Mighty Ducks in 2000. He also served as the director of ticket operations and director of group and inside sales for the Los Angeles Kings from 1996 to 2000.

Kristi Barens, managing director of Los Angeles-based Mullin Consulting Inc., has been selected to join the board for the Junior Achievement of Orange County and the Inland Empire. Junior Achievement’s mission is to inspire kids to achieve at the business of life.

REAL ESTATE

Coreland Cos. of Tustin added Bryan Bauer as leasing and sales associate. Bauer will be involved in all aspects of leasing and sales of the company’s portfolio, as well as working closely with the other leasing and sales associates. Previously, Bauer held a sales position at Crevier BMW in Santa Ana.
