ARCHITECTURE

Thomas P. Cox: Architects Inc. of Irvine promoted Steve Hutson to associate and director of quality assurance. The firm also added two employees. Roger DuPont was hired s a project manager. Jim Thornton was named job captain and designer.

CONSTRUCTION

Mission Viejo resident Randy Andrus, senior pre-construction manager for Kajima Construction Services Inc. of Monterey Park, was named chairman of the Los Angeles district of the Associated General Contractors of California. He has been a board member for two years and at Kajima for 13.

HEALTHCARE

Aliso Viejo-based Patient Care Technology Systems of Orange County hired Bob Tropfenbaum as vice president of sales. He was vice president of sales at McKesson Corp.’s imaging solutions group.

LAW

Snell & Wilmer of Irvine elected Michael Bryan Reynolds partner and Amy Leinen senior attorney in the firm’s OC office. Reynolds has been at Snell & Wilmer since 1994. Leinen started at the firm’s Phoenix office in 1996.

Mike Yoder, a partner at O’Melveny & Myers LLP of Irvine, will serve as president of the Orange County chapter of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers for 2003.

MANUFACTURING

Avery Dennison Corp. promoted Timothy G. Bond vice president and general manager of Avery’s North American Office Products business in Brea. He had been vice president of sales. Bond will be responsible for setting strategic direction and managing financial results.

MARKETING

Costa Mesa-based communications firm The Roxburgh Agency Inc. promoted Kelly Borgen to account executive. She joined Roxburgh as an account coordinator in 1997.

Tim Hinds joined Strata-Media Inc., an Orange-based return on investment agency, as a corporate development manager. He will generate new business and initiate client relationships. Also, Katie Taylor was appointed client services manager. She supports promotional programs at Strata-Media.

REAL ESTATE

The Irvine Company named Heather Hollister vice president of leasing for its regional centers. She replaces Jeff Dodd, who was promoted to senior vice president leasing, Dodd will be responsible for managing and overseeing the merchandising and leasing of the company’s retail portfolio including regional, neighborhood and community centers and new development. Hollister joined the Irvine Co. from Foothill Ranch-based Wet Seal Inc., where she was vice president of real estate.

HomeLoanCenter.com Inc. of Irvine has appointed Matthew Connelly vice president of business development and will structure partnerships at HomeLoanCenter.com. Also, Sean Wilson was named director of the company’s new home equity division and Karen Brognard was appointed director of Internet development.

Royce A. Sharf has been promoted to senior vice president as part of Julien J. Studley Inc.’s management and ownership transition. He is the firm’s OC branch manager.

SERVICES

Shipping and logistic provider Aeronet Worldwide of Irvine appointed Felipe Arjonilla vice president of marketing and product development.

Consulting and management firm Towers Perrin Forster & Crosby Inc. elected Julie Weyland principal in the Irvine office. She is a principal in the retirement practice and joined Towers Perrin in 1984.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car promoted Greg Kennedy to regional rental manager in charge of 23 OC locations. He will supervise 100 employees in Anaheim, Stanton, Tustin, Cypress and other Enterprise locations.

SPORTS

Jeff True, Los Alamitos Race Course’s marketing director, has been appointed general manager of the race track. His duties have included simulcasting Los Alamitos races to other states.
