Rand Williams was promoted to associate at Thomas P. Cox Architects Inc. in Irvine. Williams has worked for the firm since 1997. He currently is project manager for Centrum Parc, a housing development in San Diego.

Susan Reeder was named director of development at South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa. Reeder was assistant director of development and associate director of advancement at South Coast Repertory from 1988 to 1994.
ASSOCIATIONS
Anthony Chang joined the board of directors of the American Heart Association Orange County division. Chang is medical director of the Children’s Hospital of Orange County Heart Institute. Prior to joining CHOC he was medical director of the pediatric cardiac intensive care service and chief of critical care cardiology at Texas Children’s Hospital. Tracy Yassini joined as senior business development director for the social market. Yassini has more than 14 years experience in nonprofit fundraising. She is a member of the association of fundraising professionals.
EDUCATION
Rancho Santiago Community college District named Avie Bridges as dean of exercise science, health and athletics division at Santa Ana College. Bridges has 24 years of experience in college administration and was interim dean since fall 2006.
FINANCE
Rajesh Mahajan has joined Wave Equity Partners LLC as a partner. Wave Equity is the Orange County investment firm started by C & D; Aerospace cofounder James Downey. Mahajan previously worked for Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin’s telecommunications group in Los Angeles and at Bear, Stearns & Co.’s fixed income department in New York. Mahajan will focus on Wave Equity’s future investments and acquisitions. The firm invests in real estate, fixed income and public and private companies.
Wells Fargo named Karen Wong district manager for its Orange Hills district. Wong joined Wells Fargo in 2000 as a personal banker. Before that she was branch manager at the Garden Grove Promenade branch in Garden Grove.
HEALTHCARE
Laurie Sicaeros was named vice president of physician integration for MemorialCare Medical Centers in Huntington Beach. Sicaeros spent the past 10 years in marketing, business development and information systems positions at MemorialCare.
YogaWorks hired Chris Collett as regional director for OC. Collett has 16 years of experience in management for Sports Club Co. She has worked with The National Academy of Sports Medicine and National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association.
HOTELS
Brad Logsdon was named director of sales & marketing for the Hilton Anaheim. Logsdon has 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including 20 with the Hilton family. He recently was assistant director of sales at the Hilton Anaheim.
LAW
Buchalter Nemer added J. Wayne Allen, Martin Florman and George Kunzelman as corporate attorneys in its Irvine office. Allen and Florman joined the firm as shareholders. Kunzelman became an associate.
MEDIA & MARKETING
Ascertainment added three economists to its advisory board in Newport Beach: Douglas Tuggle, Volodymyr Bilotkach and Darren Filson.

The Orange County Forum named Kathy Tavoularis media relations coordinator. She is a strategist and consultant for Tavoularis Projects. Additionally, James M. Leach of Cox Communications Inc. was named president of the OC Forum. Leach previously was vice president of the Forum.
REAL ESTATE
Jack Van Berkel joined Santa Ana’s NNN Realty Advisors as senior vice president of human resources. Van Berkel has 25 years of experience in the industry including senior positions with CB Richard Ellis Group Inc. and Gateway Inc.
Passco Cos. added Carey P. Levy as president. Levy has more than 25 years of experience in real estate investment, development and marketing. He most recently was a senior vice president and director for Granite Investment Group.
TECHNOLOGY
Irvine-based memory products maker US Modular added John Kauppinen as vice president of product development. He has more than 36 years in the industry and has worked at what’s now Sanmina-SCI Corp.’s Viking Interworks Inc. in Rancho Santa Margarita, Aliso Viejo’s Centon Electronics Inc. and Dane-Elec Corp. in Irvine. Also, Bob Bilbruck was named vice president of mobile strategy. Bilbruck most recently worked at Newegg.com.
