ARCHITECTURE

Joel Greer was hired as senior project manager for Alameda-based MBH Architects Inc.’s developer retail studio in Newport Beach. Doug Pearl joined as senior designer for MBH’s Newport Beach design studio.

ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT

Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa elected the following to its board for three-year terms: Lisa Kirk Colburn, screenwriter and film producer; Lawrence “Larry” N. Fisher, Fluor Corp. chief legal officer; and Stephen T. Fry, chief executive of Fry Steel Co. in Santa Fe Springs. The center elected Michael S. Gordon as chairman designate. Gordon currently serves on the executive committee as vice chair for bond financing and will succeed Paul F. Folino in August.

AUTOMOTIVE

Robert T. Bouttier was promoted from senior vice president of marketing and member services to the new position of chief operating officer of Costa Mesa-based Automobile Club of Southern California.

BANKING

First Bank & Trust promoted Monica Lopez to assistant vice president at its Santa Ana office.

INSURANCE

Stephen T. Pate joined Insco Dico Group as senior vice president of underwriting at its Irvine headquarters.

LAW

Cummins & White LLP in Newport Beach added three employees: James T. Jackson as partner, specializing in corporate law and business litigation; Robert J. Lamm, as associate in business transactions; and Charles P. Murawski as attorney in the business litigation practice group.

Louis K. Raymond joined the transactional real estate practice as of counsel at Newport Beach-based Newmeyer & Dillion LLP. Raymond formerly was executive counsel at Walt Disney Co.

San Francisco-based Gordon & Rees LLP named Manuel Saldana partner at its Newport Beach office. Saldana most recently was partner at Lewis Brisbois, Bisgaard & Smith. Yoon Chang also was added as associate in Newport Beach.

MANUFACTURING

Sandra States was hired at San Juan Capistrano-based Fluidmaster Inc. as product marketing manager. States most recently was product development manager for Whirlpool Corp. cooling products.

NONPROFIT

Working Wardrobes for a New Start of Fountain Valley added five new members to its board: Marilen Coughenour of Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian; Erin Freeman of New Century Financial Corp.; Paula Milano, of Ki Solutions; Jennifer Rash of Cookie Lee Jewelry; and Laurie Weidner of Weidner Communications.

La Habra Family Resource Center, which provides health education and in-home support services for pregnant women and families, appointed Juan Martinez as manager.

Fred Stefany, vice president and general manager of Time Warner Inc.’s cable voice services unit, joined the board of Children’s Hospital of Orange County’s Padrinos fund-raising group.

REAL ESTATE

Aliso Viejo-based Merit Cos. promoted Britta Graham, Kevin Pennington, Maureen Radon and Kellie Sambrano to district managers at OC apartment complexes. Joe Bolich was promoted from senior account executive to operations manager.
