Tony Phillips has joined Sunwest Bank as vice president and relationship manager for commercial lending. Phillips will be responsible for developing business and servicing existing clients. He will work out of the company’s Anaheim office.

Los Angeles-based Korn/Ferry Interna-tional has hired Peter C. Santora as a managing director, based in Irvine. Prior to joining the company, Santora was a consultant at Christian & Timbers in Orange County.
Kelly P. Dudley has been appointed senior vice president and chief operating officer of the First American Trust arm of First American Corp., Santa Ana. He will manage the company’s real estate, tax, securities processing, accounting, corporate trust and services departments.
CONSTRUCTION
Andrew L. Youngquist Construction Inc., Costa Mesa, has named Jim Lefler president and chief operating officer.
Lefler joined the company as senior executive vice president when the company was started in 1996.
ENGINEERING
Jess Harris has joined Santa Ana-based civil engineering and surveying firm Hall & Foreman Inc. as director of community planning. Harris will be responsible for development and growth of the company’s land-planning division.
HEALTHCARE
PacifiCare Health Systems Inc., Santa Ana, has hired Michael R. Henderson as senior vice president of finance.
Henderson previously was vice president and chief financial officer for Presbyterian Health Plan of New Mexico. He will be responsible for PacifiCare’s financial planning and analysis.
Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center, Mission Viejo, has appointed Dr. Marcello Borzatta chief of staff for 2002. Borzatta is a vascular and trauma surgeon and director of the Mission Vascular Institute and Stroke Center.
LAW
William R. Devine has joined Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP as partner in the firm’s land use and real estate practice. Devine specializes in land use, water, endangered species, energy and environmental issues, power companies and commercial entities. He will work out of the firm’s office in Costa Mesa.
Costa Mesa-based Rutan & Tucker LLP has hired patent attorney Robert D. Fish as partner and head of the group’s intellectual properties practice. Tucker will bring four associates, a patent agent and four paralegals with him to join the firm’s corporate department.

Lake Forest-based I-Flow Corp. has named Orlando P. Rodrigues vice president, marketing. Previously, Rodrigues worked at Laser Diagnostic Technologies, Alcon Laboratories Inc. and Allergan Inc.

Kim Custer has been promoted to vice president of communications for Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernar-dino counties. Custer will oversee the education department in addition to managing the marketing and public affairs departments.
PERFORMING ARTS
Santa Ana-based Pacific Chorale named Helene Trudeau director of education. Trudeau will oversee the administration of 16 music education programs throughout Orange and Los Angeles counties. Previously, she was the executive director of Imagination Celebration of Orange County.
REAL ESTATE
Dorrie Steele has been elected president of the Community Associations Institute, Orange County chapter for 2002. Steele is manager, community association development for John Laing Homes Inc. in Newport Beach. Additionally, Pamela L. Cooper, senior director of property management at Irvine-based Villageway Management Inc., was named president-elect.
San Clemente resident Elizabeth Roberts, assistant vice president at The Merit Cos., Mission Viejo, has been named chairperson of the Building Industry Association’s Orange County department of real estate committee. She will serve as chair for a year.
