Morgan Stanley representative Mark T. Taylor in the firm’s Laguna Hills office has joined its wealth adviser program. Taylor has been with Morgan Stanley since 1992. The program provides customized investment strategies for wealthy clients.
Russell Riopelle has joined RSM EquiCo as vice president of Capital Markets LLC, the firm’s broker-dealer unit. He will be part of the firm’s corporate finance division, which helps privately held midmarket companies find capital.

Christine Scheuneman has joined the Costa Mesa office of Pillsbury Winthrop LLP. She is a litigator with a background in real estate, finance and joint venture and partnership issues.

Q4 Logistics of Santa Ana has appointed Patti Satterfield manager of business development. She will be responsible for expanding the company’s supply chain implementation programs. Satterfield has 16 years of experience in distribution, application and marketing.

Athena Real has been appointed controller at The Peterson Group, a Newport Beach-based marketing and communications agency. She will be responsible for many of the company’s financial operations, including billings, payroll, tax payments, collections and preparing financial statements. She has been an accounting professional since 1989.
Brian Cierpial has been appointed vice president of sales for On-Target Direct division of The OCT Group based in Foothill Ranch. Cierpial will be responsible for leading On-Target’s expansion in direct marketing and overseeing new business development.

Sicor Inc. appointed Suzanne Sensabaugh vice president for regulatory affairs and quality assurance for its biotechnology division. She will direct all regulatory affairs and quality assurance activities. Previously, she worked at Genzyme Corp. where she was responsible for global regulatory affairs.

Deloitte & Touche appointed Steven Varner as a principal in the firm’s Costa Mesa office. He will lead the reorganization service group for the Pacific Southwest. Varner will provide business and financial advice to both debtors and creditors including evaluating business plans and turnaround strategies.

Newport Beach-based Ruby’s Diner made several key appointments: Susan Wilkie was named vice president of operations; James McGhee as vice president of finance and Lowell Petrie as vice president of marketing. Wilkie was director and general manager of park food operation for Disneyland. McGhee was responsible for the financial arm of Pasta Pomodoro Inc. Petrie served as director of brand marketing for Denny’s Restaurants.

Pro-Dex Inc. of Santa Ana, a maker of miniature electric, pneumatic and battery powered rotary drive systems, has appointed Patrick L. Johnson president and chief executive of the company. He previously was president of Micro Motors Inc., the company’s subsidiary. Micro Motor’s controller Jeff Ritchey was appointed chief financial officer and treasurer of Pro-Dex.
Peter Bennett has joined Information Technology Resources Inc., a technology services company, as a senior account executive of sales at its Buena Park headquarters. He will be responsible for new business development focusing on large account sales. Bennett previously was with Systems Management Specialists with clients in manufacturing, insurance and medical industries.

Toshiba America Information Systems Inc. named Christopher Labrador vice president, product management, for its telecommunications systems division. He will be responsible for overseeing product development, management and quality assurance.
