ADVERTISING

Irvine-based ReichesBaird named Tim Price and Ewan Pidgeon vice presidents. Price has been a creative director with the firm for nine years. Pidgeon joined ReichesBaird in 2002 as a creative director. The firm has been ranked one of the Top 25 B2B Agencies in the U.S. for six years.


ARCHITECTURE

Amy Brady was promoted to business development coordinator at MBH Architects in Newport Beach. Brady will act as marketing, advertising, graphics and public relations liaison between the Newport Beach and Alameda offices. Brady has more than 14 years of experience in business management and began working at MBH in 2006 as office manager.


EDUCATION

Danielle Babb joined the University of California Irvine Extension program to teach the Starting Your Online Business course, beginning March 24. Babb is author of “Commissions at Risk”, “Real Estate v2.0” and “Finding Foreclosures”. She is a California-licensed real estate professional and an information technology specialist.


FINANCE

Newport Beach-based CT Realty Corp. promoted Jake Loughridge to director of underwriting. Loughridge has been the firm’s primary analyst since 2003 and has worked as a project manager. He will assist in obtaining project entitlements and analyze potential project transactions.


HOSPITALITY

The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Coast added Christopher DeVito and Donald Akin as group sales managers. DeVito was previously group sales manager at Four Seasons Resort Aviara. Akin was sales manager at Four Seasons Resort Great Exuma in the Bahamas.


LAW

Ernest L. Weiss was promoted to shareholder at Klinedinst PC in Santa Ana. As a litigator, Weiss has worked cases involving both professional and product liability, construction and toxic tort and environmental cases. Previous to joining Klinedinst in 2005, he was a senior trial counsel at a national commercial liability carrier.

Jessica Blanche was promoted to marketing director at Rutan & Tucker LLP in Costa Mesa. She joined the firm in 2005 as marketing coordinator. Blanche is the sponsorship chair on the board of directors of the Legal Marketing Association of OC.


NONPROFIT

Jerry Mandel was named chief executive of the Irvine Public Schools Foundation. Mandel was formerly president of the OC Performing Artscenter. He most recently was a senior adviser to the vice chancellor of university development and to the dean of the Clare Trevor School of Arts at UC Irvine.


PRINTING AND GRAPHICS

Irvine-based Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. named Toshifumi Matsumoto chairman and chief executive. Matsumoto has held several positions at Toshiba in Japan and the U.S. He was most recently chief marketing executive at Toshiba TEC Corp. in Japan. Additionally, Mark Mathews was promoted to president and chief operating officer.


PUBLIC RELATIONS

Schubert Flint Public Affairs added Marice White as a vice president in its Anaheim office. White has a background in public affairs, media relations and political campaigns. She has received several Protos awards from the Public Relations Society of America.


REAL ESTATE

Jack Steinhauer was promoted to director of acquisitions and development at Donahue Schriber’s Costa Mesa office. Steinhauer joined Donahue Schriber in 2005 as a development manager. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Former NFL quarterback Scott Covington joined the Hoffman Co. in Irvine as a broker. He recently worked for The Staubach Co. Covington specializes in apartment land sales. Covington played football at Dana Hills High School, University of Miami and for the St. Louis Rams and Cincinnati Bengals.


STORAGE

Bancap Self Storage Group Inc. added Jason Allen to its team of self-storage specialists. Previously he worked for Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services, recently completing transactions in Auburn, Paso Robles and Susanville, Calif.
