Homer C. Oatman was named a shareholder of KTGY Group Inc. He is principal of home design for the custom homes team at the company’s Irvine office. Oatman has worked with KTGY since 2005 and has 25 years of contemporary design experience.
Nan Richardson joined Irvine’s Ewing Cole as West Coast director of corporate architecture. She now leads Ewing Cole’s corporate interiors practice development and growth strategies. Previously, she was director of marketing for IA Interior Architects where she oversaw new business, tracking, management and development for accounts.
ASSOCIATIONS
The California Landscape Contractors Association, OC chapter, elected Kevin Fairchild president of its board. Fairchild has been an association member since 2000 and became treasurer in 2003. He owns Santa Ana-based Illumiscapes Total Land Care.
BANKING
Farmers & Merchants Bank named Amal Alkalla vice president, credit analysis, at its San Juan Capistrano branch. Alkalla will perform credit analysis and underwriting. Alkalla has 15 years of experience in the banking industry and has held management positions at Bank of America Corp. and Banco Popular Inc.
EDUCATION
Rancho Santiago Community College District hired Sylvia Le Tourneau as assistant vice chancellor of information technology services. Le Tourneau comes from Chapman University where she was chief information officer since 1995. In her new role, she develops and recommends short- and long-term strategic planning, policies and procedures for administrative computing and telecommunications throughout the district.

Zeiser Kling Consultants Inc. promoted Henry Kling to chief executive of the firm. Dante Domingo became vice president. Matthew Roger was named secretary. James Lancaster became treasurer. Santa Ana-based Zeiser Kling is a consulting firm in the fields of geology and geotechnical engineering.
HOSPITALITY
Bambi Mensinger was hired by Meeting Manager, Orange County, as an account manager. She has experience in the tourism and hospitality industries. Meeting Manager specializes in creative and team building events, entertainment and transportation services.
Huntington Beach-based Broughton Hospitality Group hired Steve Buckler as vice president of sales and marketing. Buckler has 35 years of experience in the hospitality and travel industries, and has worked for Sheraton and Hyatt brands. As an independent consultant, Buckler advised several hotel groups on electronic distribution, sales and marketing opportunities.
INSURANCE
Irvine-based SullivanCurtisMonroe Insurance Services LLC has five new owners who bought stakes in the company and are current executives. Jeannine Coronado is executive vice president and general manager and has 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Mark Eckenweiler is chief financial officer and has 20 years of experience in accounting. Michael Isaacs joined the company 10 years ago and now is a senior vice president. David Kummer has been with the company six years and is a senior vice president. Larry Webb joined the company in 1990 and now is a senior vice president.
LAW
Robert Beall was elected to the executive committee of Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP for a three-year term. Beall is an administrative partner and business trial practice group leader based in the firm’s Costa Mesa office.
Fisher & Phillips LLP added Wendy L. Baker and James R. Dye to its Irvine office. Before joining, Baker was an associate at Musick, Peeler & Garrett LLP. Dye was an associate for Koeller, Nebeker, Carlson & Haluck LLP. The two associates will represent clients in employment litigation and offer advice in developing employee policies and compliance with federal and state laws.

Irvine-based La Jolla Pacific Ltd. promoted Steven “Jonas” Denny. Denny moved up to director of pre-construction services from project manager.
Lexie DeRouchey joined Keystone Pacific Property Management Inc. as community association manager at its Irvine headquarters. DeRouchey has spent 15 years in the industry and will manage a portfolio of existing association communities throughout OC.
MarketLinx Inc., a real estate technology unit of First American Corp., named Robert Murray senior vice president and chief information officer. Murray has more than 25 years of experience in senior architecture and development management. He recently was vice president, enterprise technology architecture, for the First American’s Enterprise Technology Group.
Robert Sattler was promoted to president and managing principal of the Anaheim office of Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate Services Inc. Prior to joining the company as a principal in 1998, Sattler was with CB Richard Ellis Group Inc. for 15 years.
NRT Inc. promoted Tom Iovenitti to president of Colwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Orange County. He will oversee daily operations for 14 sales offices and 1,000 sales associates. Iovenitti was promoted from vice president and regional manager. He has 25 years of experience in the real estate industry. He joined Coldwell Banker in 1999.
TECHNOLOGY
Nett Solutions Inc. promoted Michael Won to divisional manager and R.K. Pohlman to senior sales consultant. Won has been with the company since 2005 and was a leading account executive prior to his promotion. Pohlman began working with Nett Solutions in 2004 and concentrates on new client acquisition and retention.
Atticus Firey joined US Modular LLC in Irvine as president and chief operating officer. Firey recently was chief operating officer and acting chief executive of Meguiars Inc., a maker of car-care products.
