Joseph Miller joined ConsultNet LLC, an engineering and technology staffing company, as director of business operations for its new branch in Irvine. Miller specializes in talent acquisition, development and retention.
ENGINEERING
Miyamoto International Inc. added three people to its Santa Ana office. As office manager, Amy Brady will assist in human resources and office management. Project manager Kim Caplan will be responsible for preparing calculations and will assist with drawings for concrete and steel projects, shelving installations and equipment anchorage. Designer Michael Vincent will be responsible for designing, drafting and preparing calculations and support drawings for projects.
HEALTHCARE
Santa Ana-based MedAvant Healthcare Solutions hired Sally Roberts as chief financial officer. Roberts will oversee financial op-erations and be responsible for the company’s financial planning and reporting. She previously was vice president of finance for Alcone Marketing Group Inc., part of Omnicom Group Inc.
Jim Perrault joined R & D; Medical Products Inc. as director of research and development. Perrault is a chemical engineer and holds 35 patents in the field of medical electrodes and hydrogel chemistry.
LAW
Luce Forward Hamilton & Scripps LLP named Jennifer Dienhart as a partner. Dienhart is a lawyer in the Irvine office and Luce Forward’s eminent domain practice group.
NONPROFIT
Timothy O’Brien, senior managing director and partner for Legacy Partners Inc., joined the board of Mercy Housing California, a nonprofit that has developed nearly 10,000 affordable homes across the state. O’Brien is responsible for Legacy Partners’ housing operations, acquisition and development activities.
REAL ESTATE
Newport Beach-based KBS Capital Advisors, part of KBS Realty Advisors, named David Snyder chief financial officer. Snyder will oversee the financial management of KBS REIT I and KBS REIT II.
RESTAURANTS
Del Taco LLC added Ed Wilroy as senior director of research and development and Tom Johnson as director of consumer insights. Wilroy will help create menu items. Johnson will help grow the chain by researching and analyzing customer responses. Stacy Marler was promoted from director of quality assurance and food safety to senior director of quality assurance and food safety.
TECHNOLOGY
Costa Mesa-based Emulex Corp. hired Steve Daheb as chief marketing officer. Daheb will lead the company’s unified global marketing initiatives, including product and solution marketing, corporate business development, strategic alliances and routes to market. Daheb has experience in sales, marketing and business development.
Huntington Beach-based Bio-Clean Interna-tional Inc. named Tammy Dunn chief operating officer. She will oversee the day-to-day operations of the company. Dunn has been chief executive of Business Development Corp. and two private investment clubs, among other professional positions.
Kofax PLC named Daniel Lender chief financial officer and Jim Nicol executive vice president of products. Lender will oversee all of the company’s global finance and accounting functions. He most recently was executive vice president and chief financial officer at QAD Inc. Nicol will head worldwide product development, management and marketing activities.
