ARTS

Irvine’s Ballet Pacifica has added five new members to its board of directors: Christopher O. Schulz, Jane Birmingham, Janice Markley, William R. McCollough and Lawrence Armstrong. Janet M. Ray will serve a second term as board president. In addition, Patricia de Luna from Seattle’s Pacific Northwest Ballet has been appointed general manager.

BANKING

First Banc Mortgage Inc. appointed Danney Brinks to account executive in the retail mortgage division of its Tustin office. Brinks will focus on refinance underwriting, debt consolidation and credit repair.

BUSINESS SERVICES

John Gran, co-founder of iBenefits Inc., has returned to UltraLink, an employee benefits administration company in Costa Mesa. He will serve as senior vice president of marketing.

CONSTRUCTION

McCarthy Building Cos. in Newport Beach named Sarah Creighton project manager, education services. Creighton will work with the vice president of education services. A McCarthy employee for eight years, her new duties will include providing management support for McCarthy’s K-12 school projects throughout southern California, Previously Creighton was a McCarthy project manager for the Hollywood & Highland entertainment retail complex in Hollywood.

Also, Steve Cox transferred from the McCarthy’s Northwest Division to Newport Beach where he will be the company’s safety director for California. Cox has 12 years of construction safety experience. He will be responsible for conducting reviews of McCarthy jobsites to protect the public, personnel and subcontractors from injuries. Previously he worked as safety director for McCarthy in its St. Louis and Seattle offices.

LAW

Joseph L. Chairez has joined Baker & Hos-tetler LLP’s Orange County office. Chairez will represent companies on a broad range of issues including environmental cost recovery, insurance and real estate.

Chandra L. Moss, a specialist in family law, personal injury and civil defense, has joined the Violet Woodhouse Law Office Inc. in Newport Beach.

MARKETING

Morgan Marketing & Public Relations hired Katie Cray as account executive. Cray was in account management for the Washington, D.C., office of FitzGerald Communications Inc.

Tway Huynh was hired by Irvine-based Carrier Johnson, a designed-center architectural firm, as marketing director of its Irvine office. In her new duties she will be responsible for overseeing marketing functions to include proposal production, presentation graphics, lead generation, tracking of new projects and coordination of project photography. She has eight years of marketing development experience and previously worked for Hellmuth, Obata + Kassabaum Inc.

MEDICAL

Dr. Juris Bunkis has relocated his plastic surgery practice to Rancho Santa Margarita from the San Francisco Bay area. Bunkis now works through the Plastic Surgery Associates of Orange County.

Dr. Sam Ho, senior vice president and corporate medical director for Santa Ana-based PacifiCare Health Systems Inc., has been appointed to the Walnut Creek-based Integrated Healthcare Association board of directors.

PRINTING/GRAPHICS

Irvine-based Consolidated Reprographics has promoted Mike Hoover to director of purchasing. Hoover will implement new purchasing procedures and processes, coordinate the conversion to new software and direct the company’s purchasing staff. Prior to coming to Consolidated Reprographics, Hoover was general manager of Riverside Blueprint.

REAL ESTATE

Orange County real estate executive Bob Bunyan has formed Robert Bunyan & Associates to provide consulting services to the Southern California real estate industry.

Belden Brown, former Passco Real Estate Enterprises Inc. southwest regional sales representative, was promoted to national sales manager. Rey Frimm-ersdorf joined the Santa Ana-based company as vice president for northwest sales.

In addition, Tom Jahn-cke was promoted from national marketing of Passco Real Estate Enterprises Inc. to president of Passco Capital Inc., its NASD broker dealer subsidiary.
