ARCHITECTURE

Cheryl J. Eisenhauer was named vice president of business development at Newport Beach-based H. Hendy Associates Inc., a business interior planning and design company.

AUTOMOTIVE

Cypress-based Toyo Tire (USA) Corp., a unit of Japan’s Toyo Tire & Rubber Co. Ltd., promoted Joshua Lorig from sales manager of performance tires for the Southern division to sales manager of performance and specialty tires.

BANKING

Brian Hoyle was named chairman and Jane L. Auerswald became chief credit officer and executive vice president at MetroPacific Bank in Irvine. Hoyle previously was chairman of Harbor National Bank. Auerswald formerly was chief credit officer at Harbor National Bank.

Long Beach-based Farmers & Merchants Bank appointed Brian Nakamura as vice president at its Laguna Hills branch and Christian Buell as assistant vice president at its Fullerton branch.

EDUCATION

Webster University hired Megan Taylor as corporate relations manager at its Irvine campus. Taylor comes from the university’s home campus in St. Louis.

EMPLOYMENT

Chuck Nawrot was added as principal consultant at the Irvine office of McDermott & Bull Executive Search. Nawrot will focus on growing the company’s biotech, drug and medical device clients.

FINANCE

Irvine-based WFS Finan-cial Inc., an auto

lender, promoted Mike Chalmers from South-west division sales manager to national sales director. WFS appointed Mike Nagle to fill Chalmers’ position.

LAW

Jesse Finlayson, Jeff Augustini and Michael Williams, all formerly of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, formed Finlayson, Augustini & Williams LLP in Newport Beach.

Costa Mesa’s Greenberg Traurig LLP named Robert E. Adel a shareholder in its litigation practice. The firm also hired William Pham as associate in the firm’s corporate and securities department.

Glenn D. Taxman, principal in the real estate group of Chicago-based Much, Shelist, Freed, Denenberg Ament & Rubenstin PC, was named equity principal at the firm’s Irvine office.

MANUFACTURING

Costa Mesa defense supplier Ceradyne Inc. promoted Alvin Gerk to vice president of operations. The company makes body armor and other gear.

David Koma was hired as regional sales director at Omnikey Americas in Irvine. The company, which makes smart card readers, is a unit of Germany’s Omnikey AG.

NONPROFIT

The Child Guidance Center Inc. named the following to its board: Sergio Bechara, chief executive of Millenium Corporate Solutions; Brian Clark, president of Pinpoint Technologies Inc.; and Tony Costanzo, president of KWIK Bonds & Insurance Agency Inc.

PRINTING

Irvine-based Main Graphics added Lisa Kupfer and Wayne Ebell as graphic communications consultants.

REAL ESTATE

Chris Moses was hired as senior retail adviser at Irvine-based Healstone Investment Real Estate Inc. Moses previously was with Moses Tucker Real Estate in Little Rock, Ark.

Bryan M. Starr became lead government advocate at Anaheim-based Associated Builders and Contractors of Southern California. Starr brings experience in local, state and federal politics to the construction association.

RETAIL

Gail Ossipoff was named special events manager for South Coast Plaza. Ossipoff comes from the Newport Beach Conference and Visitors Bureau, where she was director of communications.

TECHNOLOGY

Irvine-based Portellus Inc. added Joe Bowerbank as marketing director and David Vaughn as business development manager. The company provides software for the mortgage banking and insurance industries.

Headwire Inc., a software engineering firm in Lake Forest, hired Ross Hering as director of business development. Hering brings more than two decades of technology experience, including stints at Santa Ana-based SRS Labs Inc. and Lucasfilm THX, among others.
