ARCHITECTURE

Bellevue, Wash.-based MulvannyG2 Architecture named Chris Coonan principal in their Costco southern team in Irvine.


AUTOMOTIVE


Wei Shih was promoted to area car sales manager of the Huntington Beach office of St. Louis-based Enterprise Rent-A-Car Co. Shih previously was a finance manager and assistant car sales manager.


BANKING

Ted Parker joined the Irvine office of Wachovia Wealth Management, part of Charlotte, N.C.-based Wachovia Corp., as a vice president and private banking senior relationship manager.

Linda Suarez-Alpiger joined the Costa Mesa office of Comerica Bank, part of Dallas-based Comerica Inc., as assistant vice president and sales officer in the treasury management division.

Costa Mesa-based RSM EquiCo Capital Markets LLC promoted Mark Agosto, David Burke and Michael Parham to managing directors. Agosto runs the rubber, plastics and advanced materials group. Burke oversees the engineering, construction and building materials group. Parham heads the energy team.


CONSULTING

Joy Johnson and Gregory Smith joined Los Alamitos-based Telein Group Inc.

Chicago-based Aon Consulting Worldwide, part of Aon Corp., promoted David Wachtel to vice president of the health and benefits practice group in Irvine.

Newport Beach-based Lydon Group LLC, a finance and technology consultant, named Vicki McIntyre as an associate in the ethics and compliance practice group. McIntyre is an active member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and is president of the institute’s Orange County chapter.


EDUCATION

Christine Terry was named interim provost for the Anaheim-based North Orange County Community College District’s School of Continuing Education.


HOSPITALITY

The Westin South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa promoted Melanie Haywood to catering sales manager.


LAW

Steven Kester and Francis Quinlan joined the Newport Beach office of Walnut Creek-based Archer Norris PLLC as counsel in its financial services and specialty practice group.


MEDIA & MARKETING

Irvine-based Capstone Studios Inc. promoted Gretchen Benedetto to vice president of strategic planning.

Anne Valdespino was named the features senior editor of Orange Coast Magazine, published by Indianapolis-based Emmis Communications Corp.

Entrepreneur Magazine, published by Irvine-based Entrepreneur Media Inc., named Charlotte Jensen executive editor.


NONPROFIT

Anissa Ayala was named business development director for the Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties regional office of White Plains, N.Y.-based Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Ayala appeared on the cover of Time magazine in 1991 when her sister gave her a life saving bone marrow donation.

Kevin Blake was named chair of the Irvine Chamber of Commerce’s Go Green Committee. Blake is the Southern California regional sales manager for Los Gatos-based Akeena Solar Inc.


REAL ESTATE

Newport Apartment Group in Newport Beach hired Ignacio Diaz Jr. as senior associate. Diaz will specialize in representing clients in the sale and exchange of apartment buildings.

Darren Mandel joined Irvine-based Keystone Pacific Property Management Inc. as a community association manager.

Andrew Herron joined the Irvine office of Boston-based Colliers International Property Consultants Inc. as a vice president in its tenant representative services division.

Children’s Hospital of Orange County in Orange named Waldo Romero vice president of facilities design and construction.
