ASSOCIATIONS
Diana Jennings, founder of Image Impact Group in Coto de Caza, was named president of the Association of Image Consultants International. The association provides resources, education and professional development to image consultants.
The Building Owners and Managers Association of Orange County elected 12 people to its board: Gary Cunningham as president; Michael Rosen as executive vice president; Chris Popma as director of finance; Tracey Hagadorn as director of education; Mike Raring as director of marketing and sponsorship; Tom Grochow as director of government affairs; Christopher Elliott as director of membership; Peggy Sanchez as parliamentarian; Scott Wetzel as director of communications; Nellie Carlen as director of associates representation; Cindy Turkich as director of programs; and Kathryn Leigh as past president.
Jack Williams, president and cofounder of Benefit Mutual Mortgage Inc., based in Brea, was named president of the California Association of Mortgage Brokers, a nonprofit that represents more then 4,000 professionals. Williams previously served as board member and treasurer for the association.
EDUCATION
Melinda Lester was promoted to dean of academic affairs at the Art Institute of California, Orange County, in Santa Ana. Lester formerly was associate dean. She is a graphic designer with nearly 30 years of industry experience.
ENGINEERING
Santa Ana-based Tait & Associates Inc. named Ron Lopez as director of marketing and added Jamie Evanoff as environmental and compliance training director. Lopez formerly was business development manager at the company. Evanoff previously was human resources manager at Quantum Corp. in Irvine.
HEALTHCARE
Refractec Inc., an Irvine eye device maker, added Richard Lindstrom to its board. Lindstrom is founder and attending surgeon of Minnesota Eye Consultants.
INSURANCE
Irvine-based DLD Insurance Brokers Inc. added Raymond Chao as chief operating officer. Prior to joining, Chao was a chief financial officer and asset manager for an Orange County property development and management company. He has more than 21 years of experience in insurance and executive management.
LAW
The Irvine office of Fisher & Phillips LLP hired Danielle Moore as associate. Prior to joining, she was an associate for Koeller, Nebeker, Carlson & Halluck LLP in San Diego.
Anna Kogan joined Costa Mesa-based Rutan & Tucker LLP as an associate attorney. Kogan previously served as general counsel for restaurant venture Blowfish LLC. Her legal expertise includes business litigation and employment law.
MEDIA AND MARKETING
Camille Jayne was named chairwoman and acting chief executive of Specialized Marketing Services Inc. Michael Stannard was promoted to chief operating officer from president. John Snook was promoted to chief financial officer from executive vice president.
Integrated MarketingWorks, a full-service marketing communications agency based in Irvine, added Lee Goldston as a senior account executive. Goldston has experience in strategic marketing communications, media relations and event planning in the healthcare, hospitality, real estate and education industries.
Michael Kedor joined the Irvine office of merit/Andrew, a full-service production company, as a graphics artist. Kedor has more than 15 years of experience with graphics and animation programs, and has worked on feature films, commercials and music videos.
NONPROFIT
Saint Joseph Ballet’s board appointed six officers: Frank Foster as chair, Joan Beall as vice chair, Jacob Preus as secretary, Rich Hunsaker as treasurer, Socorro Vasquez and Ernesto Vasquez as chairs emeriti. The board also added two members: Cathy Chase, senior vice president of Lehman Brothers, and Fernando Vivanco, director of international communications, Boeing IDS Support Systems.
REAL ESTATE
IndyMac Bank, part of Pasadena-based IndyMac Bancorp Inc., hired two people at wholesales lending division in Irvine: Anthony Dunton and Nancy Brodie as business development managers. Dunton previously was an account executive at Fieldstone Mortgage. Brodie previously was a senior account executive at Nationstar Mortgage.
