EDUCATION


Orange acting city manager John W. Sibley was named president of California State University, Fullerton, Alumni Association.

Gary W. Matkin was reappointed as dean of continuing education at University of California, Irvine. Before becoming dean in 2000, Matkin was associate dean at University of Calif-ornia, Berkeley, extension, where he also was chief academic officer.


FINANCE

The Orange County chapter of Financial Executives International appointed Rhonda Longmore-Grund president. She is interim chief financial officer of Inviso Systems in Aliso Viejo.

HEALTHCARE

Cal Optima appointed Kurt W. Hubler as executive director of the OneCare Program, which provides healthcare services for individuals who are eligible for Medicare and Medi-Cal programs.

LAW

Attorneys Sarah E. Greenberg, Stephen M. Hauptmann, James Hultz, C. Kendie Schlecht, and Clayton T. Tanaka joined the Newport Beach headquarters of Newmeyer & Dillion LLP. Tabitha Rainey, a transactional specialist, also joined at the same office.

MARKETING

Stephanie Martin was hired as public relations specialist at the Lake Forest office of Luminor. Martin most recently was sales and marketing coordinator at 3D Metal Fabrication Inc. in Anaheim.

NONPROFIT

Mission San Juan Capistrano named Nathan Banda on-site events manager. Banda is a 10th generation member of the Rios family, who were early settlers of San Juan Capistrano.

Steve Francis was appointed to the board of Adult Day Services of Orange County, a nonprofit in Huntington Beach that provides care to people dealing with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia.

PRINTING

Costa Mesa-based Consolidated Re-

prographics, a provider of imaging and printing services, promoted Keath Lauderdale to president from vice president of sales and marketing. Consol-idated is a unit of American Reprographics Co.

REAL ESTATE

Brett Borisoff was named president of the commercial insurance division of Countrywide In-

surance Services Inc., a unit of Calabasas-based Countrywide Financial Corp. Borisoff will work from the division’s Irvine office.

Opus West Corp. promoted three people at its Irvine headquarters: Bert Levesque to director of construction; Matt Montgomery to director of real estate; and Jason Bent to senior project manager.

Aaron Pacillio was hired as director of acquisitions at the Irvine office of San Diego-based Davlyn Investments Inc. Also added to Pacillio’s team were Darrell Roberts, as a real estate analyst, and Brooke Latka, as executive assistant.


Irvine-based Hopkins Real Estate Group named Steve Soto director of government affairs. Soto most recently served as economic development director for the city of Westminster and has served in other positions for the cities of La Mirada, Norco and Orange.

Barbara Trachy was promoted to vice president of sales in the OC division of Irvine-based Standard Pacific Corp. Trachy previously was director of sales.

TECHNOLOGY

Orange-based 8e6 Technologies, a provider of Web filters and reports, promoted David Angier to director of product management. He previously was senior product manager.

Mark Coyle became head of sales and service operations for Southern California at Malvern, Penn.-based Ikon Office Solutions Inc. Coyle will be working at Ikon’s Irvine office. He previously was director of sales for the company’s Western region.

Avigdor Luttinger was appointed as worldwide vice president of marketing and corporate strategy at Israel’s Magic Software Enterprises Ltd. Magic’s U.S. headquarters is based in Irvine.

Bob Moreau was promoted to director of integration services at Compushare Inc. in Santa Ana. He previously was the Texas regional manager at the company.
