Roxburgh Agency in Costa Mesa promoted Alicia Toth to director of creative resources. Toth will manage creative ad work that focuses on linking brands to consumer trends. She began working at Roxburgh in 2001 and has a communications degree from California State University, Fullerton.


ARCHITECTURE

MVE & Partners promoted Tory Fulwider of its Irvine office to senior associate partner. Fulwider manages accounting, budget and tax systems for the firm.

HKS Architects Inc. promoted Maria Martinico to associate principal and senior vice president of its Irvine office. Cindy Boyer was promoted to associate.


ASSOCIATIONS

Michael Simon was named president of the Orange County chapter of the California Land Surveyors Association. Simon is director of surveying at Tait & Associates Inc. He has more than 27 years of surveying experience in management and production in public and private sectors.


HEALTHCARE

Girish T. Hagan was named vice president of marketing at Tustin-based Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc. He previously was director of business development and strategic management at Toshiba. Hagan joined Toshiba in 2005 with more than 15 years of marketing experience.

Marvin D. Posner became chief of staff at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo. Posner is director of Mission’s perinatal diagnostic and treatment center. He is board certified in maternal and fetal medicine and obstetrics and gynecology.


NONPROFIT

Maurice Wilson was promoted to chief operating officer at New Directions for Women in Costa Mesa. She previously was a quality improvement officer. Sandy Peffer was hired as director of development. She previously was director of development at Mariners Christian School.

Friends of Santa Ana Zoo added Armando Armenta to its board of directors. Armenta is service manager at Citizens Business Bank in Fullerton.


PRINTING AND GRAPHICS

Ed Yandell joined Los Alamitos-based Trend Offset Printing as chief operating officer. Yandell will manage manufacturing and engineering at Trend Offset Printing. Yandell previously was chief operating officer at Creel Printing in Las Vegas.


PUBLIC RELATIONS

Kimberly Porrazzo joined Morgan Marketing & Public Relations LLC as vice president client services. Porrazzo previously was editor of OC Metro Business Magazine. She also worked as managing editor of OC Women’s Business and was president of the OC Press Club last year.


REAL ESTATE

Irvine-based Sperry Van Ness promoted Shane Shafer to senior vice president. Shafer, who’s been with Sperry Van Ness for five years, has consistently ranked one of the company’s top brokers. He also is a member of the Orange County Apartment Association.

Tony Faulkner was named to manage a new office of Realty Executives International in Dana Point. Faulkner previously worked out of a Century 21 office in Mission Viejo.


TECHNOLOGY

John-Marc Clark was named vice president of marketing at eEye Digital Security in Aliso Viejo. Clark has nearly two decades of experience in software products and corporate marketing. He holds degrees from the University of Miami, Universidad de Belgrano in Argentina, University of California, Berkeley, and Georgetown University.

Irvine-based Integrien Corp. added Fred van den Bosch and Sunny Gupta to its strategic advisory board. Van den Bosch previously held several positions at Veritas Software Corp. Gupta currently is chief executive at Apptio Inc. and previously was executive vice president of products at Opsware Inc.

John Baumgartner joined Sidepath Inc. in Irvine as vice president of business development. Baumgartner has more than 15 years of sales, marketing and business development experience. He recently was senior IP sales at SBC Communications, now AT & T; Inc.
