Irvine architectural firm Ware Malcomb hired three employees for its corporate office. Charlie McAllister joins Ware as a senior project manager. She will be responsible for design, management and approvals. Vincent Jackson and Brian Parker also have joined the firm as job captains.

Christine Diemer Iger, a partner at Costa Mesa-based Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP, has been named chairperson of the Orange County Transportation Authority’s executive working group. The group will provide executive-level review, analysis and input on transportation planning and investment policies.
HEALTHCARE
Irvine-based LifeMast-ers Supported SelfCare Inc. appointed David R. Strand president and chief operating officer of the disease management company.
PacifiCare Behavioral Health, a unit of Cypress-based PacifiCare Health Systems Inc., named Lawrence M. Weinstein Western region medical director. Weinstein will be in charge of the behavioral health unit’s hospitalization and outpatient programs.

Irvine-based Sullivan-CurtisMonroe Insurance Brokerage appointed Sadie J. Bailey as personal lines manager. She has more than 17 years experience in the insurance industry.
Cassandra A. Pryor has joined Western Security Surplus Insurance Brokers Inc. of Los Alamitos as an underwriting supervisor. She previously worked at Crescenta Valley Insurance Inc.

Kring & Chung LLP added attorney Tina J. Mehta to the firm’s Irvine office. Her practice includes insurance defense and general construction law.
Costa Mesa-based Rutan & Tucker LLP elected partner Michael T. Hornak to a three-year term of the firm’s three-person executive committee. He has been a partner at Rutan & Tucker since 1984. Rutan also named three new associates. Roger Friedman joined the firm’s financial practices group. Don Pelgrim was added to the firm’s real estate practice. Anthony Taylor has joined Rutan’s municipal and government agency group. He returns after two years at Burke Williams & Sorensen LLP.
Washington, D.C.-based Crowell & Moring LLP hired Scott Feldmann, formerly with Brobeck Phleger & Harrison LLP, to join its Irvine office. Feldmann has experience in intellectual property, Internet, e-commerce and privacy litigation.

HomeAid of Orange County Inc. added Richard Hunsaker of Irvine-based Hunsaker & Associates to its board of directors. HomeAid, established by the Building Industry Assoc-iation, builds and renovates shelters for the temporarily homeless.
