ACCOUNTING

James D. Grace and David A. Thomas were promoted to principals at Bolar, Hirsch & Jennings LLP in Irvine. Grace and Thomas joined the firm more than a decade ago.

ARCHITECTURE

Dallas-based Humphreys & Partners Architects LP named Vince Chupka regional director at its Irvine office. Chupka previously was with McLarand Vasquez Emsiek & Partners.

Marcus Mitchell was added as senior job captain to the mixed use studio at the Newport Beach office of Alameda-based MBH Architects. Mitchell formerly was project leader at HMC Architectural Group.

BANKING

Michael Schulman was added to the board of Commercial Capital Bank, a unit of Commercial Capital Bancorp Inc. Schulman serves as chairman of the board of Anaheim Arena Management LLC, as managing director of the Samueli Family Office, on the board of the Samueli Foundation, the Samueli Institute for Information Biology and the Orange County Jewish Campus.

CONSTRUCTION


Joe Martino was named regional manager at the Irvine office of Howard S. Wright Construction Co., which is based in Seattle. Martino comes from PCL Construction in Los Angeles where he was district construction manager and manager of strategic alliances.

FOOD


Classic Foods Inc., a San Francisco-based maker of snack foods, appointed Shane Gray as vice president of food service sales and Lynn Marie Robles as director of vending sales at its Irvine office. Gray formerly served as advertising executive at several fast-food chains. Robles has experience with numerous snackfood companies.

LAW

William P. Curley III was named shareholder at Richards, Watson & Gershon. Curley practices in the public law department at the firm’s office in Brea.

Allan Litovsky joined global Greenberg Traurig LLP as shareholder in its Irvine office. Litovsky is an intellectual property litigator who formerly was of counsel in the Costa Mesa office of Latham & Watkins.

NONPROFIT

Mission San Juan Capistrano promoted Pat March to the newly created position of volunteer program administrator. March will continue to assist with corporate events, help recruit volunteers and work on the mission’s public relations efforts.

Paula E. Meyer was appointed for a two-year term to the board of the Orange County Child Abuse Prevention Center. Meyer is an attorney and principal at Paula E. Meyer & Associates APC in Orange and returns after a three-year hiatus.

PRINTING

Holly Berecz was named public relations director and Dana Meyer was promoted to public relations associate at the Newport Beach office of Mechanicsburg, Va.-based Fry Communications Inc. Berecz began with the company on a free-lance basis. Meyer has been with the company for three years.

Lester Lithograph Inc. in Anaheim promoted James “Jim” Witt to director of marketing in addition to his current position of executive vice president and Randy Watson to plant manager.

PUBLIC AFFAIRS

Former assemblyman Ken Maddox joined Newport Beach-based Sheldon Group. He will serve as director of state government relations.

REAL ESTATE

Sperry Van Ness promoted Kymberlee Black from organization development manager to national adviser organization manager; Sara Gillette from national compliance specialist to organization development manager; and Megan Monfort to public relations strategist at its Irvine headquarters.

Irvine-based Keystone Pacific Property Management Inc. added Cristine Winston as events coordinator for the CZ Master Association at its Rancho Santa Margarita office. Winston previously was events coordinator for Coast Connection.

RESTAURANTS

Mark Wallace was named director of sales and marketing at Anaheim Convention Center, which is run by Philadelphia-based Aramark Corp. Wallace previously was director of sales and catering at the company’s Oregon Convention Center operation.

TECHNOLOGY

Samsung Electronics Co. appointed Yong Jin Park president of the information technology division of Irvine-based Samsung Electronics America Inc. Park previously was president at Samsung Electronics’ Latin American arm in Panama and also has experience at the company’s South Korean headquarters.

TOURISM

The Newport Beach Conference and Visitors Bureau named Julie Linahan Incentive Travel Industry sales manager. Linahan previously was with Ross Products division of Abbott Laboratories.
