HNTB Corp. promoted David Anderson to Southern California practice builder. Anderson will retain the role of vice president and officer in charge of Southern California.
Roel Construction appointed Natasha Chapman to executive assistant and Bob Thurman to project manager.
CDS Construction appointed Jorge Rivero to director of construction for commercial projects.

HRP LanDesign, a landscape architecture, planning and urban design company, promoted Kurt Braxton to senior principle partner and Glen Sharra to principle partner. Todd Larner and Brian Hogan were appointed senior associates.
NONPROFIT
Aletha Anderson was elected president of the Orange County affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation for 2003-2004.
Patrick Rogan has been elected president of the Orange County and Long Beach Chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants for 2003-2004. Rogan is owner of P.D. Rogan and Associates and is an accounting professor at Saddleback College and Orange Coast College.
The Girl Scout Council of Orange County promoted Gail Holmes to assistant executive director of membership services. Molly Preston was appointed senior director of fund development and communications and Judy Breedlove was appointed director of human resources.
Eric Swenson, president of the Copy Club on Main, joined the Orange Chamber of Commerce’s board as president of the ambassador’s committee.
