PacifiCare Rolls Out New Dental Plans
PacifiCare Dental and Vision, an Anaheim-based unit of PacifiCare Health Systems Inc. in Santa Ana, introduced a new series of dental health maintenance organization plans. The plans come in five variations and have higher premium levels.
The plans, called 900 Series, also offer additional services that weren’t previously covered, such as dental anesthesia and adult fluoride treatments. Additionally, the plans don’t have limits on specialty dental referrals.
PacifiCare Dental is offering its plans “with emphasis on the value of prevention in keeping employees healthier while helping manage the costs of routine and major dental services,” said John Whalley, vice president of sales and account management, in a release.
