Christopher Pinckney, chief executive of CP Web Design, together with Elliot Light, president of L & A; Marketing and Advertising Inc., recently created a joint-venture online marketing business called “garden of e” targeting clients in the housing, financial, hospitality and recreational industries.
The former CP Web Design operation has been superceded by the new business, but the L & A; shop will remain as a traditional marketing company that creates brochures and print campaigns out of offices in Irvine. The shop, which has a staff of about 10, has a client roster that includes Woodbridge Homes in Mission Viejo.
The new garden of e operation, which will focus on creating Web sites using flash animation, will be headed by Pinckney and Light and will tap L & A;’s staff as well as various freelance contractors.
The new company’s client list includes Marvin Homes in La Quinta; Pacific Communities in Newport Beach; Cornerstone Developers in Cathedral City; Empire Polo Club in Indio; and the OC Chapter of the Urban Land Institute.
