Niebla Tapped as President of Mexico Advisory Group
Orange County businessman and philanthropist J. Fernando Niebla has been tapped to lead a group formed to promote U.S. investment in Mexico.
Niebla was named president of the California Business Advisory Group, which plans to help Mexico’s development bank Nacional Financiera come up with policies that can boost funding of Mexican companies by U.S. investors.
Nacional Financiera has an office in Santa Ana’s International Business Center.
Niebla started computer systems company Infotec Development Inc. in 1979 and sold it to Pacer Systems Inc. of Massachusetts in 1996. The company was renamed Pacer Infotec and later acquired by AverStar Inc., now part of San Diego’s Titan Corp.
Since selling Infotec, Niebla has run Orange-based International Technology Partners and worked with wife Olga on charitable causes.
