New York Expands Auction-Rate Securities Probe

New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo’s office on Monday expanded its investigation into Wall Street’s handling of auction-rate securities markets, seeking to commence settlement talks with JPMorgan Chase & Co., Morgan Stanley and Wachovia Corp.
