Irvine-based Leighton and Associates, a geotechnical firm, has formed a new division to handle its non-residential projects. The new division,Public Works, Commercial, Industrial,will be headed by Ross Khiabani, principal in charge and new vice president of the firm.
Khiabani has been with Leighton since 1981 and has been a principal engineer and director of engineering with the firm since 1992.
Leighton and Associates provides geotechnical engineering, landslide and seismic evaluations, mitigation and soil stabilization services. It employs 130 professionals in Southern California.
