The Irvine law firm formerly known as Jackson, DeMarco, Peckenpaugh has added a new name partner.
Land use partner Michael Tidus has been added to the firm’s name, now Jackson, DeMarco, Tidus, Peckenpaugh. Tidus has been with the firm for more than 15 years.
“He has brought to the firm a lot of expertise in the area of land use, which is one of our very fast-growing practice areas within the firm,” said President Ruth Mijuskovic. “He also was selected because of his management talents.”
Tidus received his undergraduate, master’s in business administration and law degrees from the University of Southern California.
Tidus’ clients include Lennar Corp., Regency Outdoor Advertising, Vista Media, Cobolt Construction, Beazer Homes and SunCal Corp. Other practice areas include real estate and litigation.
Jackson, DeMarco is the 13th biggest law firm in Orange County, according to the Business Journal’s ranking in January. It has more than 40 lawyers, up 40% from a year earlier.
