Santa Ana-based technology products distributor Ingram Micro Inc. has landed a contract to provide logistics services for Naples, Fla.-based SmartDisk Corp.
Under the deal, Ingram Micro’s U.S. IM-Logistics division will manage warehousing, inventory, order management and transportation for SmartDisk, a maker of computer drives and other products. Terms weren’t disclosed.
SmartDisk plans to send orders electronically to IM-Logistics’ inventory management system. From there, orders are to be sent to one of IM-Logistics’ distribution centers, where they are completed and products are delivered to customers.
