IndX Software Corp., an Aliso Viejo developer of decision-support software for manufacturers, is expanding in Europe with the signing of four new regional resellers.
Germany’s In-GmbH will represent IndX in Germany and Austria, providing software consulting and implementation. Holland Automation International BV of the Netherlands will represent the company in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. In the U.K., IndX has signed Automation Products to focus on the factory floor market. An existing IndX distributor in the U.K., Minerva Industrial Systems, will focus on the enterprise market.
Also in the U.K., IndX has signed on with Rex Software, which develops manufacturing information systems for the oil industry.
“We don’t see the euro as a big enough problem to warrant concern, given that our business is just starting out in Europe,” said IndX spokesman Mike Pelzman.
IndX Software Corp., founded in 1996, is a privately held company that designs and markets products to help executives solve problems and improve profitability for their manufacturing operations and their supply chains.
The company has 46 Orange County employees, with plans to expand local hiring over the next year, according to Pelzman.
The company’s Web-based product gathers information from different business sources and presents it graphically in a browser to provide real-time monitoring of activities and operations.
