Irvine-based healthcare advertising agency Ignite Health Inc. on Tuesday said it’s being bought by inVentiv Health Inc. for $20 million in cash and stock.
Somerset, N.J.-based inVentiv said Ignite would operate under its communications division, which handles healthcare marketing and communications.
Ignite was founded in 2001. Clients include Aliso Viejo-based Valeant Pharmaceuticals; Bausch & Lomb Inc. of Rochester, N.Y., Indianapolis-based Eli Lilly & Co. and San Diego-based Amylin Pharmaceuticals Inc.
Ignite’s services include online advertising, disease education, customized games, blogs, podcasting and online communities to connect its clients with patients, caregivers and providers.
