Aliso Viejo-based Fluor Corp. said it won a contract for engineering work at the Habshan Gas Complex Expansion project in Abu Dhabi.
The $999 million expansion of the gas processing complex calls for Fluor to build two sulphur recovery units and a new acid gas enrichment complex, among other work.
Fluor’s operation in Camberley, United Kingdom, will lead the expansion, which is expected to be finished in the next three years.
Consolidated Contractors International Co. will handle construction and other services on the project, which was awarded by Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Ltd.
