Aliso Viejo-based Fluor Corp. last week announced a strategic alliance with Carollton, Texas-based Primedia Workplace Learning to develop an 80-course online training series for industrial maintenance and operations personnel.
The courses will cover the petrochemical, utility and general manufacturing sectors. Besides training Fluor employees, Fluor and Primedia plan to market the online courses to their customers.
Primedia Workplace Learning provides distance learning for the automotive, banking, healthcare, industrial and law enforcement markets. The company is a division of New York-based Primedia Inc., a targeted media company.
