Epicor Opens Center
for Latin America
Irvine-based Epicor Software Corp., a maker of accounting and other software for small and midsize businesses, said it has opened a new learning center in Boca Raton, Fla., for customers in Latin American and the Caribbean.
The learning center is designed to provide training on Epicor products to the company’s customers, resellers and consultants. The Hada Group, a consultant specializing in Epicor software, is set to run the center and offer training throughout Latin America.
Latin America is a small but growing region for Epicor. For the quarter ended Sept. 30, the company counted $700,000 in sales in the region, up 31% from year-ago period. For the quarter, Epicor reported $93 million in total sales, down 30% from the same period a year earlier.
