Edwards Lifesciences Corp., the cardiovascular company set to spin off from Baxter International on April 3, has appointed a new chief financial officer and a general counsel.
Bruce J. Bentcover, 45, will serve as corporate vice president and CFO of the new company. Most recently he was the COO and CFO of Women’s Healthcare Management Group, a company he co-founded. Bentcover has also worked for G.D. Searle, Ecolab Inc. and Hallmark Cards Inc.
Bruce P. Garren, 53, will be corporate vice president, general counsel and secretary. He previously was senior vice president and general counsel for Safeskin Corp. and vice president and general counsel for Tambrands Inc., as well as an associate with the law firm of Arnold & Porter in Washington, D.C.
