A fund managed by Jupiter Asset Management Ltd. acquired a $2 million stake in Costa Mesa-based e-Net Financial.com, an online financial services company. This is the second funding in the last two months for e-Net, bringing the total raised to $4 million. The proceeds of the funding will be used for working capital, general corporate purposes and further retirement of debt incurred in connection with a previous acquisition of assets.
“Attracting investment from this type of financial institution and venture capital firm is a strong validation of our business model, market opportunity and leadership,” said James Shipley, the CEO of e-Net Financial. Jupiter manages more than $21 billion around the world. E-Net Financial provides commercial and residential real estate financial services through conventional methods as well as through the Internet and private line communication.
