Irvine-based CorVel Corp. said Friday that it failed to file its annual report on time with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The maker of software to manage workers’ compensation insurance claims said it needed more time to collect financial information before its annual report was finalized.
The company said it planned to file the report “as soon as practical,” in a regulatory filing.
CorVel sells its medical billing and healthcare management software to employers, insurers, third party administrators and government organizations.
The company said Friday that it was releasing the latest version of its core MedCheck software.
