Two hotels by Bass Hotels and Resorts of the U.K. broke ground near the Disneyland Resort last week.
Located on a 6-acre site on Manchester Ave. near Katella Ave., the project includes a 264-room, $26 million Holiday Inn and a 143-suite, $11 million Staybridge Suites. Irvine-based R.D. Olson Construction is the contractor; Lee & Sakahara Architects designed the project.
Bass Hotels purchased the site earlier this year from R.D. Olson for $7.1 million. The hotels, which are 100% funded by Bass, are expected to open next summer.
