Alliance Imaging, Inc., Anaheim unveiled nationally a “positron emission tomography” for shared-use diagnostic procedures. PET is designed to help smaller medical facilities, including doctors’ offices, and is a key diagnostic technology, explained Richard Zehner, board chairman and chief executive officer.
The procedure will be offered at mobile units at local health facilities where it will be available to community health providers. Alliance will provide the equipment and personnel for a flexible turnkey service, Zehner said.
Alliance Imaging is a full-service healthcare provider of diagnostic imaging and therapeutic options which include hardware and personnel.
