Ice chest brand Igloo Products Corp. has relocated within Orange County, selecting Irvine for its new West Coast office.
The company said its 10,000-square-foot space on McDurmott, near John Wayne Aiport, will be staffed with most of Igloo’s creative, marketing, e-commerce and product development staff. The OC team currently numbers 35 workers.
The company had previously been located in Costa Mesa, also near the airport.
Igloo’s companywide staff totals 1,200 with corporate headquarters in Katy, Texas.
The company has recruited from many local and regional companies in the action sports space with some executives hailing from local brands, such as Element, RVCA and Stance Socks.
